Years back when price falls massively so many skeptics criticise bitcoin and say a lot of things of how bitcoin will crash soon. Since Bitcoin price increased to $100k, it is very difficult to see people criticising bitcoin and more especially to say bitcoin will crash as they have always say in the past. In 2022 when bitcoin price falls to $15k their was so many talks that even made many investor's not have courage to continue to invest Bitcoin. But today there is nowhere for criticism of bitcoin to be found.

I don't want to pull up the meme picture of the grim reaper again, but Bitcoin has been announced to die a thousand times (and it didn't) and this will continue for the foreseeable future.

There have been ups and downs and there will be ups and downs, so nothing new to see here. Nobody has a crystal ball, it's Bitcoin and business as usual.

What exactly do you want to critisize?

I still think there's a lot of criticism; perhaps what we can say is that this criticism has reduced, and those critics who had a large audience no longer have a large audience because many people are no longer paying attention to them, as they now know the truth concerning Bitcoin and can no longer be easily deceived.

The recent historic dip in the value of Bitcoin may still give some a yardstick for criticism, but much attention is not paid to them as people understand better now that these sorts of dips can occur based on certain events but are still not an indication that Bitcoin will no longer be valuable.

Well you see Bitcoin is rn in a position, that losing from this position is hard. Bitcoin hardly dump 5% over a day. In this recent crash Bitcoin only dumped 7% . If you deal Bitcoin as a asset you won't see any problem in it. The only problem is rn on the market is going on with leverage position. People do get liquidated and come to surface and tell bitcoin is volatile. But as a fixed asset, savings on Bitcoin it's defenetly a good investment if you're looking for.

Criticism is allowed, and you should expect an asset as valuable and important as Bitcoin to attract criticism, so expect more. The fact that Bitcoin is seen above $100,00 doesn't mean anything.

For example, have you noticed what happened recently when Trump hinted on the TruthSocial that he would hit China with 100% tariff? Bitcoin dropped about $20,000 in a few hours. If such a situation persists, particularly when we are suspecting a bearish season soon, do you think some people will not still criticize Bitcoin?

But guess what? Bitcoin will continue to prove them wrong, which is what matters most.

The main cause for criticism was price volatility, countless dump and recovery has proven this allegations to be false, Bitcoin has passed every questionable doubt as from the start the only criticism that is talked today is linked to criminal activities and those critic has been debunked and we all see it concede the wrong narrative.

Holding criticism on Bitcoin price is as living a decade in the past. Whoever want's to criticize Bitcoin will do it secretly, knowing that it surpassed too many doubts, from a $1 value asset to now worth over $100K.

Criticism has been decreasing along the years, as Bitcoin grew stronger and more consolidated, but it's still present in some proportion. Haters just wait the right time to attack Bitcoin. When Bitcoin is doing well, it's normal that you don't see any hostility towards it, but let a crash or correction happen, and you will see people claiming it's a ponzi scheme and cheering the fact they didn't buy BTC, because they knew it wasn't going to last.

Criticism is an indication that a project has prospects and Bitcoin in this question has been criticized countless times but proved people wrong. People must always criticize what they don't understand and you'll not blame them because that's ignorance speaking through them. Most of them critics are finding ways to invest in Bitcoin now. Too late they spent a lot of time criticizing what they would've bought and held and should've gotten some good value for their investment by now. Bitcoin investment has sealed their lips and taken the courage for negative prediction out of them.

Bitcoin has faced a lot of criticism since its inception. In the beginning many people considered it to be malicious inconvenient or suitable for criminal activity. However reality has shown that most of these criticisms were based on excessive fear or lack of information. For example when it rose from just a few dollars in the first few years to $1200 by the end of 2013 many called it a bubble.

The criticism related to criminal activity was also largely unfounded. To be honest, like almost all types of currency or online transactions Bitcoin has sometimes been used for illegal purposes. However several studies have shown that it is growing in terms of legitimate use and criminal use is a small part of the total transaction volume.

I think the strongest aspect of Bitcoin is its resilience and stable growth. Any technology or economic product will be criticized but Bitcoin has been able to survive the harsh criticism.

In my opinion, the story of Bitcoin is essentially one of resistance innovation and patience. There will always be volatility and criticism but those who look at history and data will understand that it has proven for over a decade that most of the criticism is unfounded.

Critics are not going to go away, they are there at any price and expect them that they will continue to exist. But some of them going from being a critic down to being an investor as well when bitcoin itself has proven how reliable it is as an asset and they've seen it too. And so, they're changing their thoughts and hearts about it and starts to be part of the herd, with us. Whenever it goes down, you'd see many of them comes back but when the market is bullish, you don't see them usually because they will be pointless to say that it's going down when it's going up.

I believe that proof of work and successful halving has shown everyone that what Satoshi calculated and established can actually be fruitful and dominate modern currency market.
What also made critics of Bitcoin now become investors is also the guarantee of wealth it gives with a good DCA strategy or spot ETF investing.

There's so much to say about Bitcoin if I begin to expansiate  but I would end here by saying that Bitcoin has and will always shut the critics up by being dominant with decentralization in today's currency market.

It is very simple and of course nothing to really worry about, criticism will continue provided Bitcoin is not created to only move in the upward direction, it is bent on moving in both opposite direction which we call volatility, it is in human nature to be sentimental, when Bitcoin is going up they feel regretted not to have invested when it is coming down they feel otherwise but Bitcoin only comes back to give a new all time highs and this has been happening over time, those that will have have sense will do and those that doesn't is left for them to either wake up and face reality of things and stop living in an imagination over what they don't have control of.

All the haters don’t have anything to say anymore, they have tried this several times and Bitcoin do prove them wrong and this time again, they can’t come out to criticize Bitcoin now until we enter the bear market when the price will drop down, but all what they are saying are not useful since they don’t also keep to their words, most of them have Bitcoin in their secrete wallets, but they are deceiving others outside not to invest that it is not safe and it will end up as scam.
Critics about Bitcoin started since when the idea was brought up, and yet some people never give up; let them keep wasting their time and opportunity to join now, investors will make their money and leave them with the criticism.

Change is inevitable, as much as people can easily shift their mindset towards bitcoin especially that it continues to amaze us with its new all time high that we don’t think it’ll be possible for bitcoin in the long run. And that’s why instead of negative criticisms that we used to hear about bitcoin, now all we hear are praises and amazing value of bitcoin due to its high potentials to reach an exceptional price every now and then.

However, the price of bitcoin may not always stay on top, as there are time it goes down as well. But price recovery happens every time there is price decline, and I think that builds more trust to bitcoin than criticizing it.

There will be sideways at all times regardless of the market situation and the critics know it as well. Because just like us, they're looking at the market too but the big difference is that we've invested and they're not. Or maybe they have as well but they are playing it hard for themselves to play the villain part because they've started it all and they're shy to completely unveil themselves to the public that they're investors actually just like us and not the typically critic that we have thought of them.

The thing is this criticism will never end except bitcoin is no longer existing again but just like you said there will be reduction of haters or critics as the time goes on, a clear example is that of Micheal Saylor who is now portraying himself as the main man in bitcoin was one of the heavy haters of bitcoin in his early days and today he actually has his founding company among the top institutions holding and still stacking bitcoin, that’s how bitcoin has turned haters to fans.

As for the existing haters now I don’t think they don’t see the truth but they definitely don’t just want to shift their grounds and that’s why they always come up with excuses most especially when the price faces dumps

Guess what? All the critics already invested in bitcoin and are also afraid not to criticize bitcoin now because they need to make profit and bitcoin sudden crash was not expected so they are probably in lose if they are not holding for long.

Right now they all know that how far bitcoin has gone, bitcoin death isn’t knew and only a few will be convinced with such thing in this current day and time.

I guess there are still criticisms but are only few and limited, and that only happens whenever bitcoin price suddenly experience a huge price decline that any newbie isn’t prepared for that. Of course, criticisms will never run out, but it only stops for a while when bitcoin maintains its good position but when the price reaches another dips, that’s where criticisms come out again.

My realization with this, as long as bitcoin isn’t completely supported by the government, there will always be criticisms here and there. And we, the bitcoin community should never see this as a threat but a motivation to keep moving forward and continue promoting bitcoin.

When I look back, I wonder how time has passed. A few years ago, Bitcoin was going through a lot of unpleasant things. There was terrible news coming from China, Bitcoin Cash supporters were spreading their own vitriol, and to make matters worse, some bankers were constantly making negative price predictions. This caused the price to drop significantly.

Everything got worse when the price rose and bad news appeared. People panic-sold for days. It was something that often made me wonder whether I should sell or not. I confess that there were many times when I sold in panic. The price would rise a little and I thought it would go up a lot, but it would drop a lot and I sold. Those were not good times.

People still criticise Bitcoin; it's only not as loud as they used to, but like always, they have no real facts. Criticising Bitcoin always creates a conflict because there is something else they support that is not better than the Bitcoin they criticise. So it's hypocritical. The reason we are not seeing different awful takes about Bitcoin is that it's doing well in terms of price right now. By the time the bullish period is over and Bitcoin goes down to below $100k, you will hear a lot of people saying bs again, including memecoin scammers

Yes it does appear that most people resent not buying any or resent the fact that they didnt shoot their last shot when they had it in 2020 or 2022, or even a year ago when it was half price what it is today. Pity. We have pity on the fools!!! Hehe hey sorry not sorry. We tried to tell them, urged them to study! Urged them to invest, and they just didnt listen

Those critics has become bitcoiners secretly. There were people that are so loud in stating their insult against bitcoin and they are silent now because they know they are wrong.
Even recent dump still land bitcoin on a relatively high price compared to previous cycle.

What are they gonna criticize about bitcoin at this point? that it has grown 2x more than previous ATH? ;D.

They will criticize bitcoin again once it falls a very massive dip because that's the only valid situation where you can talk trash to it. They won't criticize or spit non-sense right now since BTC don't even fall below $100k, it's playing in this range only. Just wait for the fall and a lot of experts will fud the BTC and will dictate all the negative titles to it, but we all know that this phase doesn't last long, those who keep fudding BTC always eat up their statements for how many times in the past so there's nothing to worry about.

Criticisms are still there, but we can see that it’s already getting minimized, probably because some have shift their views about bitcoin, or some got tired already on putting negative words towards bitcoin, and yet bitcoin continues to appreciate its price, attracting a lot of people to trust bitcoin and its potentials, and start investing on it as a real, significant asset.

Criticisms are normal, and once those criticisms have run out, that only means that bitcoin is no longer attracting attention from the crowd. So it’s good to be criticized, because the more an asset receives criticism, the more it will find ways to thrive and become successful in the end.

Well, if I had a dollar for each journalist/critic who claimed that Bitcoin died or is at major risk etc. after a crash, well, I'd have a couple of thousand dollars so far. Before Bitcoin surpassed $100,000, such articles were a daily thing, they still are, but perhaps not as often as it used to be. I remember a minor drop a few months ago, and I remember reading an article with a title similar to "Is the start of the end of Bitcoin?". Something like that, dramatic criticism is still prevalent, but it has been minimised the past year or so.

Bitcoin has been criticized since the beginning and will continue to be criticized. However, the criticism that was there about Bitcoin in the beginning can be accepted because people do not understand how long a currency will last in the market, whether it is a fraud or not. But when Bitcoin has proven its true characteristics beyond all speculations. So now Bitcoin will not give people that opportunity to criticize it. All transactions in Bitcoin are recorded on the block chain. So there is no chance of fraud here. Moreover, it works as a hedge against inflation. Like gold, it is one of the means of investment. After all this, those who are wise will never express doubts.

There has always been Bitcoin critics right from time even till today many are still speaking against Bitcoin even though Bitcoin has grow pass that level. I am not surprised in any way because to every thing there must be people who will speak good and bad about it. So I am not surprised but I don't care about what some people think about Bitcoin, everyone has the right to decision making including not investing into Bitcoin. The fact is that as some are busy criticizing Bitcoin, others are busy acquiring wealth to themselves. Those that keep criticizing Bitcoin will later regret when it's too late. And looking at things right now I believe that they have already started regretting.

I have personal experience with some people who constantly criticize the investment approach taken in Bitcoin. Ironically, those who used to criticize have even now purchased several altcoins. I believe this criticism won't affect us if we have good intentions and understand our investments, as I believe this kind of criticism will never go away. To some extent, we have carefully considered this investment system and have studied it, allowing us to draw conclusions about our involvement in investment.

For those who criticize, they've already started investing, because no one wants to turn a blind eye to Bitcoin's ever-growing growth, except for those who are foolish enough to see the truth based on the facts. So let them continue criticizing and send our regards when your investment flourishes with increasing asset growth, because criticism must be met with success.

If you can't find criticism about Bitcoin, then maybe you aren't looking at the right place. The internet is full of "echo chambers", where most of the "echo chamber" members share the same opinions(every opinion, that contradicts their beliefs gets deleted). Maybe you should join some anti-crypto "echo chambers" and you will find plenty of crypto critics and haters there. The fact that there's no criticism about BTC on mainstream media doesn't mean that all the haters have suddenly turned into supporters. They are simply waiting for the next big price crash in order to say "I told you so". ;D

Many people don't like change, they prefer the old ways that they are used to until they have little or no choice but move with the trend and that is what is happening with Bitcoin. Many people including myself criticized it when it was first created, we thought that it was a Ponzi scheme but now most of us knows better and we are making budgets every week and month to continue buying it for a very long term. Most of those that are still skeptical about Bitcoin today will change their minds sooner or later, Bitcoin has already made name for itself. Because of Bitcoin many people no longer trust traditional currencies that can be hit by inflation, they will rather convert their fiat for long term use into Bitcoin that will give them profit on the long term.

Those who believe in Bitcoin will never criticize it, but at one time when the price of Bitcoin fell a lot, many criticized it. However, they were the ones who were patient and succeeded in the present time, if someone criticizes Bitcoin, I think his spiritual knowledge is very low. We know that the future of Bitcoin is very bright, in that case we always believe in Bitcoin and can hope that Bitcoin will never be destroyed. Although many people used to criticize Bitcoin in many ways in the past, but in the present time, Bitcoin is not criticized, but its positive side is seen. Since the big people and companies in the world have paid a lot of attention to Bitcoin, no one will criticize Bitcoin in the future.

There's a lot of criticism leveled at Bitcoin, some say it's a scam, some say it's going to disappear, some say it has environmental issues, and many more. However, we know that Bitcoin continues to grow despite these criticisms. What these people say has no effect on Bitcoin whatsoever. In fact, what we're seeing now is that Bitcoin is increasingly being accepted by large institutions, banks, and governments in several countries. While the criticism hasn't completely disappeared, the noise has significantly diminished because they can no longer fan the flames.

That's how it works most times, the starting point of every thing always have more challenging part of it not until people start spotting the light in it. Bitcoin has done well in recent time and people that never saw the light wayback can now ataste to his greatness lately.

In life, I have come to realize that criticism only strengthens your whole process in your success story, it makes you grow stronger and better however, their is no need getting worked up over criticism because that's a signal that shows you are great.

There are still criticisms here and there, i believe the latest i read was from Hargreaves Lansdown, were they said BTC shouldn't be called an asset, because according to them it has no intrinsic value. And then there is Peter Schiff who cannot promote gold and silver without making a negative comment about BTC.

So BTC still gets its fair share of criticisms. But more people now see those criticisms for what they are, which is nonsense that certain individuals and the media are trying to propagate. BTC keeps proving its critics wrong, it did it when they called it a bubble and it's gonna continue proving them wrong well into the future.

Trump claimed to have no interest in bitcoin during his first term and later even called it a scam in a 2021 interview, but now he is the first US president to endorse bitcoin. Or in 2013 Michael Saylor called bitcoin gambling but now MicroStrategy is a company holding over 640kBTC. Or Larry Fink called bitcoin an index of money laundering in 2017, but now BlackRock is an ETF holding over 800kBTC.
Those who were the biggest critics of bitcoin in its early days are now its most ardent supporters.  ;D ;D

I think the bitcoin bashing phase is over, and there is no reason to bring this up again.

If you look at this article you can see that there are still people criticize Bitcoin on its usage and think negatively about the idea for countries also institutions to include this on their reserves.

And you can see lot of this doubts if you browse more online. But their statements really matter? For sure not because they have their own biases and opinion. Maybe they are concern on those uncertain things but didn't actually see the possible good effect of this kind of adoption. So better focus on good developments rather than keep listening on their negative thoughts.

The criticism on Bitcoin will never end no matter the fight Bitcoin will attain because there are people that are mainly willing to take control of the world and Bitcoin is a decentralized currency that can’t be controlled; therefore, even though these critics will still hold their portion of Bitcoin, some of them needs to keep up to show the public that they never give up, but they are also investing in Bitcoin without telling everyone since it is decentralized.

Furthermore, some of these critics are from people that missed Bitcoin at early stage, they will want the coin to be down so that early investors that have hold their Bitcoin will lose everything they have if the price crashed, instead of them to go an invest in Bitcoin now before it became too late because Bitcoin is the future gold, everyone needs to have some for future purposes.

Bitcoin holders should never listen to the criticism of Bitcoin. People will always hate on things. I believe there are people who criticize Gold and stocks too. It's what people do. No matter how good a movie or song is, people will still criticize it. So it's normal. Please don't base your financial decisions on the criticism of these people, but on proper analytics. When you put everything into perspective, you will see that almost all what they say about bitcoin is not credible, and if you study bitcoin, you will know that it's volatile, so when the price falls, you will not be fazed because you already know and understand that bitcoin tends to do that from time to time so nobody can deceive you with it. 

Suppose you haven't heard of any recent criticism about Bitcoin, that doesn't mean the criticism of Bitcoin has stopped. The criticism keeps feeding into air by some people who don't see Bitcoin as a digital currency that offers financial freedom to humanity. Some still think Bitcoin is far from that; instead, it's a bubble that would soon be burst.

However, everyone has the right to say or think whatever they like. It wouldn't stop Bitcoin from being store of value we see it to be.

Maybe you are just not finding them which honestly good for you. We all should just collectively ignore them because it is not helpful criticism anyway. A lot of those criticism only comes from wanting to prove others wrong or wanting to make fun of those who have invested in bitcoin but just because you do not see them means it doesn't exist anymore. People who previously saw bitcoin as something without value have now begun to see it as something very important, at this point, some people are regretting why they did not invest in bitcoin when they had the opportunity to do so. Bitcoin is one of the best investments in the world, if not the best investment, it is an investment that, if you understand it, you will never regret investing in it or using your own funds to do so.

Many people did not believe in bitcoin from the start for a variety of reasons. Some did not believe in bitcoin because they did not understand it, while others saw it as an investment in which they would lose money in the end. Some people understood bitcoin but did not want to invest in it because they did not see it as something that would be very valuable right now.

In the past, negative issues about Bitcoin have been reported in the news at various times by the country's government and major economists. Basically, the government always spreads various positive and negative issues on any subject for its own benefit and creates a kind of confusion among the people. Now, as the price of Bitcoin has increased much more than imagined, and many people and economists around the world have started to trust Bitcoin, large institutions have started to hold Bitcoin. Considering these issues, heads of government of different countries have accepted Bitcoin as their reserve currency. Many have started holding it. They are now doing this only for their own benefit.  Due to the decentralized nature of Bitcoin, people are able to use Bitcoin as they want and the popularity of BTC is increasing day by day. Thinking about the future economy, now big institutions and heads of government have basically decided to hold Bitcoin. Now they do not say anything negative about Bitcoin because when they start holding themselves, they will always want the price of Bitcoin to increase in the future, which will improve the economic system of their country.

You should not be bothered about what others say, and focus more on what bitcoin has to offer and as holders, you should not not be bothered on whatever other people have to say and rather focus on how to accumulate and I believe those who believed it previously and held ever since then would be happy now and proud of the decisions they took to hold when others were skeptical.

There is no need to regret as long as you are learning from your lessons and trying to redress your footstep then I would say that, you’re still on the right track provided you are now acting your words of change which you’re already doing by wanting to focus to learn about bitcoin even from this forum.

Every good thing had criticizers and its left for the good thing to prove itself  against what the people think and say and that what bitcoin did, that against all criticisms and odds, it still fought through to gain the trust of the people and what seemed like a joke, became freedom and hope for the common man and evey other person who believes too.

That’s why it is called Bitcoin the father of all digital currencies. It just keep doing what it does best proving critics wrong , like many doubted Bitcoin of hitting $100k this year and now it has surpassed that price range hitting a new ATH of around the range $124k+ .

So as time go bitcoin will continue to gain more adoption and those that criticize will be among those adopters too . Especially those that speculated that bitcoin will crash to 0$ and many fell for it but some still keep striving and those that fell for such lame speculation and regretting now that’s why you have to be knowledgeable not to fall for such cheap talks .

I don't wish to see more criticisms for bitcoin because it's been through a lot. But they're just there and waiting for the right timing to criticize again. We can still see some of them that never stops like Peter Schiff. He's never stopped criticizing bitcoin and that's why don't wait for them to go back and have those bad comments again about bitcoin because they're just there waiting for the market to correct a lot and go through the bear market. Just like how we're celebrating now, they're also going to celebrate when the time comes for them.

Negative criticisms about bitcoin are still there, but it’s somewhat calmer these days compared before where majority have thrown stones to bitcoin, claiming that bitcoin is just a get-rich-quick scheme. But now, everyone gets amazed slowly with the potentials of bitcoin and how it did stand throughout the test of time, that it ended up even become firmer and highly potential and profitable despite how volatile and unpredictable the market is.

Bitcoin may probably stay for good, but I don’t think criticisms about it will come to stop, most especially that the first criticized is none other than but the government itself.

There's no positive effect for us personally from following their criticism, and in fact, there's no benefit whatsoever. Criticism of Bitcoin will continue as long as people fail to see the truth, and for those with a vested interest, such criticism is deemed essential. This situation doesn't need to be addressed further, as it will only waste energy responding to them, especially the criticism we frequently see on social media. It's far better to focus on implementing effective investments so we can see changes in ourselves regarding financial freedom.

If we don't initiate it, perhaps no one will be able to push for that goal, and that's why we must stop reading negative criticism of Bitcoin. Honestly, I start laughing every time I see harsh criticism of Bitcoin, and what's even more odd is that the critics are well-known figures. They have access to the truth about Bitcoin, as historically, anyone can see the direction Bitcoin has taken to this point.

People sometimes i believe don't get enough information before they start their criticism and so that also affects the quality of the criticism they put out there. if you are criticizing a course, it is always good to understand the long term intentions of it before dishing out statements that will be considered foolish after a short while because that i believe is the case with some of those Bitcoin critics and that is why now you are not seeing them raise ugly heads as often like they had done before, anyways it is good that in the long run Bitcoin has not disappointed those who did not fail to believe in the project and now they are good beneficiaries of the profit yields.

Some of these critics are now investors i guess, because even them are now seeing that as against what they had taught, the dynamics of Bitcoin is far more different and even the potential its got is one which they may not have fully understood till this time and now they see that its worth giving a trial and not too many criticism.

As long as Bitcoin exists, the criticism will never end. Don't forget that we will soon enter the bear market when the price drops drastically, and these critics will find reason to come up with their predictions. You should expect them to increase attacks if a negative event happens to an exchange or any crypto-related business or platform. There will always be reasons to attack Bitcoin, so always expect it.

Don't be deceived those that criticize Bitcoin have investment in Bitcoin, most of them are just looking for engagement, their pages are monetized if you don't know, so they Will look for stuff to drag online to get the engagement, do not listen to them, at this age if anyone is still giving or predicting negative signals about Bitcoin and your worried over it, then you are new in Bitcoin investment. It Trust Bitcoin as I trust myself, it have proven itself to be a good investment for everyone that are willing to hodl for long time..

Criticism and negative comments or podcasts can never stop Bitcoin, right from day one, many that criticize Bitcoin are now regretting why they didn't buy it. So it will always end in a regret for them. The more they criticize more we buy the dip believing it will change our lives tomorrow.

The goal of their criticism of Bitcoin is to gradually destroy the general public's trust in Bitcoin, and they will not be able to destroy Bitcoin's image when conditions are currently favorable and prices are rising, so the intensity of their criticism has decreased somewhat.
