But to answer your question, different countries --> different laws and regulations. Some of them would allow you to buy or sell using your phone number only. If not, how do they avoid transactions being used for tax evasion or other purposes ? It depends entiurely on the country where BATM is and their regulation. For example, here in Croatia we don't have to go throuygh KYC when using them as long as transactions are below 1k euro. So yeah, its up to you whether you want it to report it to the tax offcie or now and you can imagine what majorify of people are chosing. |
