Title: Has anyone else ever had Avast antivirus put a new block in quarantine?? Post by: Cointel on April 03, 2014, 11:43:32 PM So I always have qt running along with avast anti virus. And just a few min ago avast detected infections in 4 files. First, blk00129.dat, most recent block at the time based on date added. It lists virus name as 10 past 3.

If Avast has the option (haven't used it in a while), report that the files are safe, and in the next month or so it should stop doing that.
Alternatively, just disable the AV until they've fixed that, and regularly move your bitcoins to an address where the private key isn't stored on your PC. even if if it is easy bypassable (does this word do exist?)
