you can create a testnet wallet on electrum only for the desktop version.  But to receive the coins you may want to request here on the forum, I've seen some thread where testnets are given out but only if you have a solid use for it. Or you can check out this site https://coinfaucet.eu/en/btc-testnet/, all you have to do is drop your testnet address.

Try these as well:

If you google "bitcoin testnet faucets" you might find some other sites.

If you're looking to acquire a large amount of tBTC for whatever reason, faucets may not be the way to go here.

Which testnet? I can send you some if it's testnet4 or signet.

For creating a wallet, I always suggest Bitcoin Core. You can run the executables for -testnet4 or signet. Just make sure to use pruning or you will download the entire testnet blockchain which isn't huge, but it's a significant portion.

You also got two transactions on Testnet3 to your address tb1pkxugrrxlwes34wncm5qqhpjudwzq6908y00kkks6f0745fhtcepsuwg0j6 (https://mempool.space/testnet/address/tb1pkxugrrxlwes34wncm5qqhpjudwzq6908y00kkks6f0745fhtcepsuwg0j6). It's not much, but enough to play a little on Testnet3. Balance on Testnet3 as I'm writing this post: 0.00168730 tBTC

Another usually well working faucet (you can request coins every 10 minutes) is https://altquick.com/faucet/ (https://altquick.com/faucet/)

Testnet3 and Testnet4 bitcoins available there. Just don't abuse it.

Hey Guys. Im looking for some testnet3 coins to test my application. What's the best method to do so? I understand that testnet coins should be worthless so im hesitent to pay for them. Is there another mechanism to get them?

Here is my testnet address if you have some to spare: tb1qqxj7p7ynnxu849pvkkgwnl04wldlc9fxmux5s2

How many Testnet3 coins would you need for your testing (be reasonable!)? I might be willing to give you some. I don't have a lot Testnet3 coins, so don't be too greedy.

Your address on Testnet4 (https://mempool.space/testnet4/address/tb1qqxj7p7ynnxu849pvkkgwnl04wldlc9fxmux5s2) already received 818,323sats, fwiw.

I just sent you some coins. No need for you to return them to me after you're finished.

Bitcoin-Safe (http://bitcoin-safe.org/) allow you to access a playground with all testnet networks available (testnet, testet4, signet and regtest). Consider regtest is a local network for development purposes, and for the other threes netwroks you'll find a demo wallet already filled with some coins so you can play around without worrying about loosing your corn.

Useful to play with multisig and learn how to create a sovereign inheritance.

Try out the latest version (http://bitcoin-safe.org/download) and let us know how we can improve it
