Title: Future of Aster Coin – Hold or Exit?
Post by: shawonngp on October 30, 2025, 09:57:17 PM
Should I hold Aster Coin or sell it?
Right now, I’m down about 60% on my investment.
Does this coin have a future, or will it end up like Turm Coin and take away everything we have?

That is how altcoins are. If you are lucky and it get pumped, it is better you sell the coin before it is too late. This has been the advice I always post on altcoins discussion regarding shit coins like Aster. But right now, the token has dumped so significantly. Definitely it is one if the shit coins that pumped and dumped just like others like PUMP and WCT.

Perpeptual Decentralized Exchanges is a future trend in cryptocurrency market by more regulations from governments on Centralized Exchanges. Perp DEX will be favorite choices of cryptocurrency traders and they will have great advantage against CEX and traditional DEX until a time governments do something in regulations aim at Perp DEX and tighten this brach industry.

It's about overview and general future of Perp DEX branch industry but about Aster, in short term, you can not expect anything good. Many people believed in it, invested money in it, or are degens with this token, so there is a lot of expectations and selling pressure on Aster. It makes rising this token price is not easy in the short term, and market makers know that too. They will wait until all weak hands are out proactively or washed out by market crash and liquidations, before they can control the token distribution and the game better, it will be time for another bullish wave on Aster. It won't come soon, especially when the general status of cryptocurrency market is kind of bearish now.

Not that I'm mostly a Hyperliquid maxi lately, but just from looking at the chart, it ain't looking good.  But the thing is most everything in crypto doesn't look good rn.  The whole market is bleak.  I think it's starting to look like we should start to stable up and wait for these coins to go rock bottom so we could pick them up again and get ready for the next run.  ;)

These things won't go up forever no matter how good you think it is.  But if you really wanna buy into a coin, make sure it's a good solid project with devs that's in it for the longhaul.

No one knows the future and before you have invested on it, you should have studied it carefully and didn't bought due to hype. I think that it's still young and there's other thread about this thinking that it will reach $5, I'm not saying that it is but the hope of the investors is there. And if I was you, whenever I have got 10%-20% of losses already and I am no longer optimistic about the coin, I'll start to dump them for sure and I'll take the loss while cutting the remaining of it before it further hits me with more losses.

Losing 60% is not a good treat.

If you had a lot of extra investments and this one is just like those then that's fine to keep them and believe that there will be a future ,but when you don't have enough funds to lose and this one is what your future is looking ,then best to take it out and try other altcoin for better result .

Remember that altcoins are not a promising future like Bitcoin ,so best to deal with those who has potential .

^  But to be fair with op, the price looks like it's starting to bottom out now and could go sideways before making another run up...  And if he's lucky, it could go for another all time high.

But always keep in mind that you start planning your exit and don't fall into a trap that it's gonna go for another good run.  Just get your money back and then some then get out.  There'll be other trades out there.  Don't get too attached in this one trade.

Depends entirely on what CZ gonna do next. Possible that in the future CZ going to put some utillity to aster nobody knows. Handful of people are also waiting for CZ next move.
If this could become the next hyperliquid it will be great but I'm doubtful. CZ himself stated that he holds some Aster. I also hold some aster right now.

Can't deny i feel regret why I didn't sell it for BNB though sometime. At least I can subscribe to launchpool. Aster really need utility.

None can predict on what might comes thereafter,  that is why it's full of risk to invest in ransom coins or tokens, however, I expected that you must have also made some research before investing, upon which I hope you have built your confidence already in, though anything is bound to happen, as being part of the risk we tend to take while we invest on crypto, just go by what your mind suggests, because you may quite now and the market pumps, or remain and hold while it keeps dumping, no one can tell what may happen next.
