For some, it’s the feeling of uncertainty. For others, it’s mastering the odds. Each player chases a different kind of thrill. Personally, it’s while I watch a match and cheer for my team (the suspense makes my experience more interesting)... And you, what fuels your excitement when the match begins?

Actually I do not know how sport betting is fun for me but I just know that I have fun while I bet on a match. Either I watch the match or I am checking the live scores also is part of the fun. Maybe because I use small amount of money for the betting or because I am having excitement to win money or not. Only what I can say is that it is actually fun but I do not really know how.

Yeah, I think sports betting has something a bit extra, that is more enjoyable than just the casino itself.

You can follow the match itself and cheer for your team, and end up with money if you win.

Of course, the odds are a bit tricky because the most common outcome will be paid less.

I enjoy sports betting if the game the I bet run accordingly to my prediction like the margin of score change is just within my prediction range until the end.

Sometimes, having an early advantage with my bet through the team early good run make my adrenaline pump since my prediction is accurate.

I believe it more on the accuracy of analysis and the fact the match is going well according to the plan.

The excitement for me is the analysis, trying to research and put together some factors to determine who wins the match and who lose too, sometimes it's about betting on the poor performance of a team which I believe that they will definitely perform poorly, then the money that is also won at the end of the game adds to the excitement.

The win is exciting, but if you base your excitement on that alone, it means that you’ll be mostly depressed whenever you don’t win and that will be often because winning is never always.

For me, I feel it is the analysis and the suspense that comes with it, that is the chances of being right.

It's exactly the same for me, I feel like no other feeling can be compared to the feeling I get when I'm watching a match I had a bet on, that is, when I bet on a team that playing a match against another team,, the feeling is always out of this world, thrill, the suspense can be sometimes killing 😁

There was a day I was watching a match I had a bet on, it was Arsenal playing against another team I am not very sure I still remember, at that time, the other team were winning by 1 goal, so I was eagerly looking forward to Arsenal scoring their equalizing goal, at a point, Arsenal was awarded a penalty and I was like this is a great opportunity, unfortunately, the moron who took the penalty flinged the ball to the other side, I almost had a heart attack 😁, I simply in anger and disappointment, turned off my TV set and tried to calm down..

In sports betting the fun starts from the analysis especially if you do it in a group, everybody has one thing or the other to mention when supporting a pick and negative things to say when rejecting one or more, most times we say fun things in the process and everyone laughs, better predicted over some bottles of beer.

It goes on to watching the match if you can and when it's going in your favor you're happy, if it's not you're cursing every player that makes mistakes and it's kinda fun too and the height of the fun is when you win your parlay, then you'd have had the most entertaining gambling activity.

Betting on sports seems like a air full balloon of uncertainty. It's true that your favourite team can any result on the match you should be prepared for every outcome. The speculation starts as soon as the match schedule is announced. My preparation starts long before the match starts and I try to win for my favourite team. This excitement is made more meaningful when I bet on my favourite team and every moment of the match seems very exciting to me. Winning is more important to me during the entire game. I consider winning the match more important than winning money because when watching the match, emotions only work for the team.

The most exciting moment when during the match I hope for a goal and I'm watching the action, that precise moment is what makes me alive, happy adrenaline.
A moment before knowing if it is a victory or a loss of the bet, it is a time that lasts very little, we are talking about seconds, but that moment seems to last minutes, I simply love it.

All of the above. I feel like I am in a different world when I am watching the match that I bet on. It gives me this inner joy watching the match with friends and discussing about the ongoing match. Just like what happened yesterday, I bet on Barcelona to win but when I saw how the host were always putting themselves on the lead whenever, Barcelona gets an equalizer, I started supporting Club Brugga despite the fact that I bet against them.

There's fun in gambling when you're doing it with the amount of money that you can afford to lose. Unlike, when you're gambling for profit. I don't bet frequently, but I try as much as possible to watch the game that I placed my bet on.

It is different feeling of two parts. One is a different feeling when I didn't bet on the game and I'm just watching it for fun without no much anxiety, just for the fun of it and we know why  ;D Because my money is not involved. The second is a different feeling when I bet on the game. If I bet on the game and at the start everything is just beginning as normal but if the game goes on without result favourable to me, I will become anxious until there is no hope again before my adrenaline will become normal and if by chance my prediction becomes favourable, as a human, I become happy because I'm winning. However, on both sides of the situation, I don't become aggressive because of the outcome of the game I bet.

We can relate to fun in different ways. How we interreact with sport and betting will truly matter here.

I watch sports game before I started gambling, so it seems the fun part in sport betting for me, has to do with the part of betting on the game I am about to watch. There is this good feeling when the games go your way. And when it doesn't, you still feel a kind of way like you this close to winning. Although the odds cannot be mastered.

For me, it's the expectation of a win of course. I don't like losing. When I also win on my bet, it shows that I'm good at my analyses too. So, it's a double win when the analyses come to pass. There's that morale boost one gets whenever predictions work out. If I lose, it means my analysis didn't work out. That translates and points me to up my game because nobody will intentionally lose bets.

I would rather get my analyses wrong and win than getting my analyses right but lose.

Everything mentioned here makes us feel excited to see the result of the game. We provably won't last long betting on sports especially if we don't enjoy what we are doing.

Somehow doing those analysis and think about we have great chance to win on the teams we are going to bet make me feel excited to follow further more about what other things going to happen.

I don't feel any excitement doing blind betting and I think its waste of time doing everything in random like betting on unknown team, I feel like I always end on losing side with this.

For me, the excitement doesn't come from a single event. The process of analysing, watching games and winning completes the process. As loyal fan of a club, betting on them and watching them play, brings some level of excitement. The joy becomes complete when my team wins the match. Another part of gambling that interests me so much is discussing and analysing games with fellow sports fans in physical betting shops. The expression of the support and loyalty of sports fans as they place bets and wait for results excites me.

The most exciting part for me is watching the game and knowing I have a bet for one team.

The analysis is actually a norm now. It's not that exciting anymore. Honestly, sometimes it's boring to do, and I just want to use the knowledge that I have to predict the team. Still, my instincts tell me to check the injury reports first before I do some stupid guessing.  :D

I am most excited when enjoying the match. I am not too worried about winning or losing in gambling. Just like i said before that one of the reason why i was involved to sport betting because i am a fan of soccer club and for each week i did watching some soccer games whether it from my local league or the games from european league and when i was decide to placed my money into some games i know the main reason is i want to gets profit besides that while betting i like the excitement of watching the games especially if my favourite teams were play and for me the most important is to see my favourite teams won the games but it will very excited too if i won my bets

You're right, there are too many ways in which a gambler can have fun while gambling. I feel a little bit excited while making analysis as I will be seeing past records of a team where they ended up with a score of 8:0 and even more and considering how poor thier performance is in the recent season, and I must also say that I feel excited when watching those match I bet on. Most of all is when there's win, I know that this excitement of wining is general to all gamblers, there are other ways of feeling excited while gambling which the level of the excitement will be low compared to the one we get when there's win.

I gamble regularly because I’m always excited to win. I’ve always believed that consistent winning can be learned, and that’s what keeps me hooked on sports betting, it challenges me. When I say challenge, I mean having both wins and losses, because honestly, it would be boring if I always won (which is impossible anyway). I would say that the risk, if I had to choose one, but I wouldn't call it so because risk is probability+impact, and the impact of losing in my case is always low because I manage my budget scrupulously. So I would say that I feel excited because of the improbability rather than the risk: I mean, watching a game and expecting the unexpected is what I enjoy from my sports bets. Yes, I value winnings too, of course, but I don't focus on winning when I bet, but on making the watching experience more fun.

The chance to win attracts me to place my bet. But I realize that it is difficult for me to win. I don't have good skills in analyzing the match so I just do what I can do and wait for the end. LOL..i see that too.For me,i derive fun from all of these factors, honestly that's what makes up sports betting.Perhaps,everyone likes and enjoys the feeling of being in the Gambling Game.But I mostly enjoy the fun that comes from the intellectual challenge and analysis.It’s rewarding and interesting when your reasoning and research prove correct it’s not just showing luck,but skills and strategy.

My excitement in sportsbetting comes from seeing the odds from my analysis and selection. The bigger it is when I bet a small amount makes me want to bet a bigger amount because of the potential winning, unlike when upon making analysis and selection, the odds turn out to be too small that a selection of about 30-40games look so small with potential winning aggregate.

I also get excited when I see a good cashout option and don't wait from then on, to be told whether to leave it or withdraw and retake or quit for the day, but wait for the end results and boldly discuss with others how almost lucky I become but lost.

There's nothing that  makes me feel excited than seeing my favorite team wining, after that I can say that one other thing that makes me feel excited in sport is when I'm making analysis as I will be seeing past matches that is played for about 6-7 seasons ago and how they ended.

To be frankly speaking, I must say that the title is absolutely different from the context and example you just gave above. Because when I saw the title "What makes you feel excited in sportsbetting: the win, the risk or the analysis?", I was expecting you to say either is it the winning, risk or analysis that makes you most excited, but you jumped about talking about "suspense", which is likely to be a general contributing factor to both winning, risk or analysis. And as such, for me, I will boldly say that the winning aspect of gambling is one that can never be over emphasize. Because a person who keep risking his money every day and don't win will suddenly get tired and stop gambling, and likewise a person who keep analyzing and doesn't win will also stop. But for a person who keeps winning every bet he place can never stop gambling. Because from the amount won, he/she will be able to live the life of his dreams. Hence, making it the most important for every gamblers.

For me, I will say all put together gives me a different kind of feeling: the joy of predicting and expecting to win in a game. Even if I lose, it will affect me a little, but once there is a little win, even if it's below the amount that I have lost, it gives me a different kind of vibe, where the joy comes much more. Probably you are using small amount of money to bet is the reason the unexpected outcome do not really distract you. I am just exactly like you because I use small amount of money to bet but the match might be boring for me because the stronger team I wished could win did not win but played rubbish. Even without betting, if the stronger team is winning, the match will be exciting than when the stronger club is losing, but if two strong teams are playing, the match will still be interesting regardless of any team that is winning or losing.

If your excitement depends on the potential wins you might have if it goes your way then you're definitely getting things wrong in my opinion but on a personal level what would make me more excited is watching my favourite team or my games play, the tension at that point, suspensions brings so much feelings around what may not be explained very well. Sure people have different things that excite them but sometimes the risk involved especially when I have a big bet and watching the game play is the highest position I have found myself.

I can't master odds, no matter how hard I try to do it. I know how I'd be ending but trying to read between the odds if they're good or not for me, I know what works better for me.

The thrill is there if the games that I like to go for have good and high odds and it's a real gamble that I am about to do.

And definitely, the wins are what we're craving to have. Because if we are gambling and we don't crave to win, just throw your money somewhere else.

I often turn off the TV early if my bet is losing hard based on the live match result since it’s painful to watch a poorly performing team that I put my money on hoping for their best form that didn’t happened.

Same for me. Of course I bet because I can win money, without the opportunity to make money and get real prizes so I can help my family and friends or buy a new phone or travel I would not bet.

I think betting is only fun because you know a win means your life gets better. Money changes everything, and in the system we live without money we have so much trouble with our lifes, like health issues that can't be treated or having to work a bad job to survive.

Those who have been follow me already know... money has never been what excites me.
What motivates me is the risk mixed with analysis... digging into the statistics, predicting the game, and hoping that chaos does not mess up my entire strategy with something unexpected or a ridiculous result in the middle of the games because something totally unpredictable and abnormal happened. There is nothing better than that adrenaline rush of "did I get it right?" while the game is happening, because I am person loyal to my analyses and I rarely change them afterward.

In short, I bet on football because I love the sport. I think betting intensifies that passion a lot, not only mine but probably that of most sports bettors. I can't believe that betting has remained high for so many months just for the money. You need to have a passion for the sport to stay engaged in it, because the happiness of winning is for the few.

To me I will say the win and the risk , when you have win before the feelings is different, then when you want play again the uncertainty sometimes can mess with your mental health, what excite me the most is when I want to stalk a game and I stir at the amount I want to put I feel a kind of funny ,because is a risk I’m taking when I’m not even the one playing , the uncertainty, the risk and the too much expectation.

Always the suspense is what makes it the most fun, even if its not for a lot of money it is something that is just something that keeps you coming back for more (more so if you end up winning lol). Off course the answer to the thread title " what makes you feel excited in sport betting " is very simple and to me what makes me feel so excited is the winning and I want to believe that is what makes so many gamblers here happy and even some people that tends or pretends to be playing for fun also feel excited whenever they win or whenever they are winning. I can't be losing or analyzing game and be feeling excited for doing that, it doesn't make any sense and sometimes I also feel excited when I'm watching an interesting match whether it is the club I fan or not.

One of the exciting things in spots betting is the booking process which involves some mental calculations and analysis, those mental involvement that tends to drive me into some researches is fun for me since I get to learn new details in the process, secondly when my efforts is crowned with success and I win my game, it's another happy and exciting moment for me since I've more funds to enjoy as against when I lose my bets and go empty for the day.

There is nothing more exciting to me than the match itself, I don't place bet on every upcoming matches but few special ones, the excitement comes from the thrill of the game itself, winning is right after and most times I don't even win so I can't count on winning as what makes me feel excited in sports betting.

I can't rule winning out though, its part of it but loses happens a lot on my side than winning, analysis have failed me too many times and now I don't even bother much about it, I prefer to just go along with a match that I have strong feeling about it's team vs the other team. What increases my excitement when the match starts is the following: the fact that I expect to see the things I predicted happen in the game when I was analyzing it before it started. For example, if during my pre-match analysis I predicted that the game would have 3 goals, with team X scoring 2 goals and team Y scoring 1 goal

and player Y scoring 1 goal, and there would be no goals in the first half, then when the game starts, I watch and when the first half ends I celebrate because there were no goals. I don't bet that way, but I analyze for entertainment purposes. When the game ends, I celebrate a lot when I'm right, even if I didn't place a bet.

Getting back to topic, I think it's a combination of everything and Piecing it together.

You know how checking all the past results, looking at any injury concerns the weather, pretty much everything and making sense of all that and risking some $$$ on the game and you see the "W" in green.. no better feeling when a process comes together and this can't be separated.

I don’t really get excited by the analysis but if I stand to have a big win, the anxiety watching and waiting for the win to come in does hit me sometimes :D

I always make sure that I watch most of the game I game because I enjoy watching it and that's probably one of the reasons why I am a gambler in the first place, what excites me is watching my team play against the other team and I observe each player in the field, their strength and every move they make I take details of everything and that really excites me. This depends on how I take the match because if is a match I just wanted to watch to pass away time I will not be in any anxious of waiting to see the match to start because already there is no urge or the wish for one team to win the game. For me I think its a mixed feelings. Like I feel differently when an just watching a match without a bet on it, and then, matches with bet carries another feeling and excitement altogether.

If I had places a bet in a particular match, then the excitement comes when the game is going as planned. I would be locked up to the final whistle,  and when they finally win, I become super excited. The money is the most excitement in it. Starting from the last option which is the analysis,I would like to say that analysis is birthed from risk taking, trying to calculate the odds from past performances, statistics and other related data to select and place an assumed "sure bet". Well, I'm not just excited with sports betting, but with the sport itself specifically with NBA. Nowadays, I don't just place bets randomly to any team, but I normally place a bet to the teams that I like the most as well as my favorite team as well.
On the sports betting side, what excites me the most is the match-up analysis I make pre-game. Understanding the odds and looking out for some hint while the players are still warming up. There should be some clues somewhere before the start of the game, like if LeBron was hitting consecutive 3s in the warm-up, then I tend to find an odd about LeBron scoring 25+ or 30+ pts because most likely he'll be hot throughout the game. I know I sound weird but It could work sometimes lol.
