Please, this is knowledge seeking and guidance and I know it will benefits many people here because I know outside internet life but physical world matters a lot. Where you are today was information you received earlier and where you're going to will still be the information you're willing or desperate to receive. I'm really confused, I have done several business ranging from clothing, accessories and farming business but I don't seem to see results. If you have ideas of a good business or profitable venture you can share here for more insights and secrets, please do well to share or suggest. Thanks

Those are really good business to venture especially farming business so you have to look at why did you fail at those business. You can get all the suggestions about good business in the world but if you don't look at while you failed in these businesses you may still fail again.
One problem people make including you is they don't give themselves time in business, failure should not make you quite a business, people before you have failed lots of time in a business but they still had the believe to stay now it's paying off or some of them.
 
I will leave you with this advice.
+ Do business that you are familiar with or if you are not familiar with it delay starting it till you have learnt
+ testing several business is not the answer
+ There is this mechanical spraying of carpet grass seeds on a particular area of land and in few weeks that area of land looks beautiful, this business is not in my area and if I have time I might do it, in essence do a business that is new and will be on demand, you know your area well so you should be able to know what should be of demand.
+ Give yourself enough time

Truth be told, information changes a lot of lives because it's not as if someone isn't trying or making efforts but the people hasn't known the right way to follow or doesn't have knowledge.

You see business isn't as easy as you think it is, and also it is normal to try different stuffs before finalising on the the one you think is better. From what you have said so far, it shows that you're someone that is not afraid of making money and I believe you know that in business just because you fail today doesn't mean you won't make or succeed in the future.

As for  better business ideas, we have numerous businesses that you can venture into like a mini importation business, marking online or online marketing etc but also remember that you need to study your location because environment matters also on some kind of business you go into. Not also forgetting target customers and most importantly your capital if not the business will be a waste of resource although sometimes if you make a little adjustments your falling business will be a profitable one at the end.

Don't lose hope on yourself but rather keep learning, pushing because the information that will help you to the next step will be just an idea or advice so don't discourage yourself because one day you will definitely succeed.

I hope you can understand that no serious business person making very good money would share this information. We live in a hyper competitive world and you would be shooting your own foot off if you were to share such a secret. If you want to make money, you should act like everyone else - learn through trial and error at sometimes great expense. If you only give a shallow attempt at a business there is a great chance you fail, as it requires optimization and refinement.

Not everyone's cut out to run a business and an even smaller group are going to ev successful on their first venture.

It's difficult to suggest something that works universally. I think trying to collect and monetise a passion or a hobby is typically an easy way to go about things. You sound like you're in a rush though and that might harm any success you're likely to have. It's possible to find and create partnerships with people to try to get more things done and started too. Even things like volunteering can give you skills you can potentially monetise and charities can be a way into work too (a lot of places that have volunteers need paid staff to coordinate their operations and gap fill).

Do you know what the flaws in the businesses you started were? Was it that they were only successful once they're scaled up, was it that you didn't know how to market yourself, was there a more reputable brand doing the same that you couldn't compete with?

Farming in particular is one that's lucrative but it's not like that all the time. Some years are bad for a certain market and some years are bad for yields. I'd say it looks that siloing and storage works out more profitable in the long run but has a higher startup cost and might not be the most advantageous year on year unless youre producing a crop, siloing it and selling it when there's a shortage.

If you tell us more about where you live (or DM me), country and city, I wouldn't mind trying to help you find something you can do locally. I think there's a strong market in buying things to resell in most places especially if you're able and willing to make repairs on physical goods or hold off for your desired sell price on digital ones. 

I think you should first of all consider the country you are from, then you will know the kind of business that is more lucrative there. There are so many business types, all of them can be lucrative but it depends on the country where you are operating these businesses. Like I said, many, if not all business are lucrative, and would be lucrative as long as the business is running in an area where the demand for such a service or goods is very high. Do I need to say more? Just look for the business that is lucrative in your state.

You're not seeing the best results yet because maybe the efforts you exerted are not enough. Do not quit, but keep working on it because in the long run, success does only happen if you work diligently on your business. This is not your big break yet, so just trust the process.

1. Social media management
2. Digital marketing
3. Affiliate marketing
4. Event management
5. Printing services

Have you identified your passion? More like what you really enjoy doing as a person

- do you enjoy meeting new people and sharing ideas with them? Then you should careers in marketing, selling, public relation, customer services.

- do you love helping people, listening to them and making them feel alright? Then you did consider careers in nursing, counseling, teaching e.t.c

- do you love being creative, being able to express yourself and working with visuals? Then you should consider careers in graphic design, fashion design, content creation, photography etc.

I just wanted you to know that people are different and what works for others as being suggested in this thread might not work for you. You've to get into the journey of self-discovery first of all to know what you desire and the direction your passion flows because whatever you desire and follow up with passion has a higher chance of succeeding because you'll do it effortlessly and with dedication compared with when you just flow with the tide.

There's no perfect a career, you've to be fully committed to any in demand skill or services you offer and moreover it's always very important you do feasibility studies to ensure there's a market available to consume your product before establishing at a location.

Again profitability isn't immediate, you'll have to build for a while with consistency, resilience and commitment before you start seeing results. I must mention that I journeyed in the world of tech for 7 years before finally having a favorable break and attracting the kind of clients I had envisioned.

I'm surprised farming wasn't profitable. Many factor needs to be considered in picking a profitable business. It's profitable in country A doesn't mean it would in country B. Every business you mentioned created millionaires.

There are many profitable businesses that you can go into but if you are looking for the most profitable one, you may have problems because what may be profitable in one location may not be in another location. This means you have to study your location and see what is in high demand before investing money in such business. If you also consider the times we are in, you will be able to notice that anything that is tech relative and offer solution to serious problem will be highly profitable. If you have not found any business idea yet, just buy Bitcoin and HODL.

As a business people that I am I will advice you to look around you and figure out the thing you know that are in demand, are the people around you interested in clothes or food? How is the economy in your country and how is it affecting the people that would be your future consumers if you eventually start your business, I don't really know about your environment or people's demand in your environment but here in my area the best selling business right now is foodstuffs business, the economy is dealing with everyone in the most negative ways and people are hungry so if they can afford to eat then they don't care about clothes. The farming business you suggested means food so I say you go with that instead.

You should start on determining your country demand product since we have different culture.

Dropshipping of imported items from China is the most popular business nowadays in my country since e-commerce becomes popular. Lots of people preferred online shopping of cheap items. Drop shipping becomes popular because seller can sell items even if they are not holding the items on hand.

I don't think new update about business will solve this problems, you've been involved in several businesses and fail, not because you do not invest in it but because you lack the knowledge behind those businesses that failed. You may fail again and again if you refuse to get the full knowledge about any business you wish to do.

There have been people who have been involved in these same businesses that you have tried, even in the same environment that you find yourself in, and they were successful in them. First, slow down to think: could the problem be the business, or could the problem be you? because it may not be the business alone but majorly you. Setting up a business and running it from start to profit requires some level of business skills, skills that some people may have naturally, skills that some people may have from the experience of working under someone, or skills that they consciously developed from reading books and attending seminars for business-type things. Regardless, you have to know your stand and where you actually belong so that if it is a deficit from you, you will be able to first develop yourself before considering another business to venture into.

You should first of all have something to offer before talking about success, If you have a skill, then what value are you creating with it?
Personally I don't believe it is an issue with the businesses you've handled so far, I think your failures have a lot to do with you. Maybe you were having your business in a location that doesn't have your supposed target audience or you were not creating enough value to the admiration of your potential clients.

It is important to note that it is not totally about changing careers but being able to create value in what you're doing since we are not paid for doing a job but the the value you add. Again getting wealthy is a measure of the problems you solved and valuable contributions and if your skills or services are not valuable enough, maybe it is a time to upgrade yourself to be more specialized rather than changing your career entirely.

The hard truth is the businesses you already tried clothing accessories and farming are all MASSIVELY profitable businesses I mean people become millionaires from farming and fashion every single day so if they failed it probably wasn't the business that was the problem it was the strategy or the approach

My advice is to stop looking for a "new" business and figure out WHY your other businesses failed

I would like to ask a little question concerning all this business that has not been so good to you after starting them before we can proceed to the main reason of this discussion, did you have knowledge on clothing or accessories before going into? Or even on the farming because I'm trying to no why non of this business worked for you so that I will no how to advice you on those busines. However changing into different businesses because of failure is not doing yourself much financial good because if you don't also understand the new one the same thing will still occurred so is better you learn about them and and check were you are not giving attention and work it through, you will see yourself managing it well.

The most profitable business is the one you know best. Whatever the industry, if you don't have enough knowledge and network, if you only have capital, it's very hard to succeed.
Putting finance and technology related sectors aside, if we look purely by industry, I think the most profitable field is the food sector. Regardless of who they are, people get hungry at the end of the day and eat. Those who do their job well in food sector always make good money.

Business is any legal activities invest in to make profit, and getting involved in any business depends of the location one finds himself. So to identify any business opportunities there are some factors to consider and this factors could be location, total capital available, availability of products and how guaranteed it is. Nobody will tell you their secrets of creating a profitable business. You need to figure that out on your own. One tip is to not open a business which is in huge saturation in any market. Give you an example, dont open any vape shops, weed shops, cellular phone repair shops, restaurants, etc.

Those businesses are on every corner and you got tons of competition and very difficult to make a profit. You need to find a niche which services a certain market and its not in huge supply and find a balance to make money off it. For example, retro consoles. One lucrative business that has been thriving so well is farming, farm produce by individuals has yield so much profits and I am wonder why you speak of not seeing results from it. Are you being consistent ? It matters you can't just put things in the soil to grow and sit to expect it to grow in no time , you'll have to keep a close look if there's need for transplanting, if it's receiving good sunlight and  and all that and trust me you ought to see results.
I got a small garden and planted some vegetables, do you know in space of 1 year it had yield fruits, just as you need patience to grow wealth, you need it as well in farming business cause you'll definitely get results.

There are multiple options to choose from and depends on your skills or availability or raw materials. Starting a business will take way more than just an idea. You need to consider other factors like geography, supply of raw goods, demand for your final product/service, etc. If you study all these, you can start a successful business and can make profits out of it. If you fail to study all the factors, all you will do is invest money and your time and get nothing in return. I won't really say nothing, you will gain some experience but that's all you will ever get out of a failed business.

You said you already have some experience with clothing so maybe you can start and online clothing brand focusing on the youth. You can design Genz clothing because that is trending and can make you earn good profits if you are willing to invest in brand building.
