The North is very big and highly populated, assuming it was South South this killing was happening our number would have reduced. Regardless the government should be help accountable for the killing in the North, they are busy playing politics and covering up crimes. Imagine that the military headquarters denied that nothing like that happened in kebbi even when a general was slaughter, they covered it up for the interest of the president. Untill the Iswap released the video on the matter. This is the kind situation we're in , this country the military doesn't care about their personal being killed on a daily basis, they are much interested in politics too. It's really sad and unacceptable, the Tinubu government has failed us, he has not interested in guiding the life and properties he sworn and oath to protect.

We're in dangerous time, the government is power is irresponsible government, all he's interested in is his 2027 ambition and foreign load.  My prayers are with the family of the addicted children and the military that lost their lives. It's a difficult time, but in all we must stop this killing in the north and other part of the country.

I was saddened by this news yesterday and it kept reminding me of the previous similar occurrence during the time of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan when 200 girls were kidnapped from their school too. I initially wondered back then why these wicked act was targeted on those helpless girls who have committed no offence but only wanted to be better in their future. This time again, it is repeating itself at kebbi state. I hope the federal government fulfils their promises to rescue them harmlessly and swiftly. Most of the girls who were kidnapped among the 200 girls during GEJ were later revealed to be married to the insurgents.

If government doesn't act fast, we may be breeding another set of terrorists who will be born and nurtured only for terrorism purposes. 25 girls can raise a battalion of terrorists and I pray this doesn't happen. And when this happens, the entire nation may face something worse than we're facing today. Our security agencies should fasten their search and bring back these innocent lads to their family. I believe Nigeria shall be great again and this insurgency will end one day.

It's so painful that our leaders don't have our interest on their minds, all their after is to maintain their political ambition. Bandits and kidnappers are operating freely killing innocent souls, the country has worsen reaching the extent of killing Nigeria Army general, if bandits can ambushed and killed General that has many soldiers guiding him, that shows no one is safe anymore.

corruption dey increase day and nights, tinubu has failed the country totally nothing is working and things are getting worse every day, Imagine giving governors of others political parties billions all in the name of decamping to APC, but their is no money for militaries personal to purchase well equipped materials to fight against insecurities.

The insecurity in the country is getting worse everyday. I was shocked about the news of the 25 kidnapped female student, despite all that is going on in the country and President Trump see Nigeria as a country of interest, but the terrorists still continue their activities like no one can do anything in the country.
I think they know that the government cannot do anything to stop them, that's why they keep perpetrating their crimes. The most annoying thing is that the government did not even say anything about it, rather the president delegated the vice president to go welcome decampies in Kogi state. This country is in big mess and we really don't even know about it.

I agree with you mate, the population of the Northern Nigeria is too big to secure that's why I'll supporting the call for division of Nigeria or state policing, since the Federal government can not longer protect life and properties they sworn to protect. It's best interest if the people if this country is divided so that every state can protect what that have.

The killing is unacceptable and the president must take full responsibility or resign, he has been quite ever since this incident happened, this is poor leadership. It's obvious the president is only interested in 2027 election. Killing in the North means nothing to him and his political party.  I hope Trump interven so that the people can go back to their farms and villages.

Well mate did I hear you just say that those 25 girls taken from their school in Kebbi is gut‑wrenching, and the silence from the top feels maddening.

The attack was reported by Reuters, with gunmen storming the Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School early Monday, killing the vice‑principal and abducting the students , well I think Since then, the army has stepped up search operations, deploying tactical units and urging “decisive and professional” action.

At the same time, Nigeria is under heightened international pressure. President Donald Trump has warned of possible military action, citing the persecution of Christians by groups like Boko Haram and ISWAP.

This nonsense killing going on in the north is really becoming very annoying and no one is saying anything about it, maybe because it has not gotten to some other parts of the country that’s why people don’t want to rise up and take certain drastic steps. Just this morning i saw a video clip of a CAC church we’re almost everyone was killed by this blood thirsty tyrants, it’s really disheartening that the government ain’t doing anything to stop this ugly occurrence’s, the government is also not ready to seek foreign aids to stop this nonsense. Nigeria claim they were colonized by the British but they don’t portray any British trait because am certain that no British citizen can be killed or kidnapped without immediate intervention by the government, why is our government so blinded with politics and money to the extent they can watch this blood thirty individuals kidnap and kill innocent citizens without doing anything. Our security is really porous as a nation imagine 25 persons being kidnapped without any trace, where did they pass? this should tell us that no one is safe in this country.

This recurrent kidnaps and killings has really gotten out of hand and no one knows for sure who the next victim will be, no one knows their next target, hence i will really appeal to everyone to be on the look out, enough of keeping quiet and doing nothing, Christians and everyone in this country has to rise and look for a way to defend themselves before this barbarians kill us all, people have to wake up since the government isn’t helping out. I will even suggest that  if the government ain’t ready to do anything they can at least legalize arms to citizens for self defense so that people can protect themselves and their love once, enough is enough.

We are literally back to 2014-2015 when we had the chibok girls issue and it made the international New, and it's looking like the federal government under the leadership of Emilokon is handicap as what to do next. Almost everything negative thing is happening to this administration at the moment, but it's looking as though the Presidency and it's handlers are unbothered in terms of giving a matching order to the military to enter into those bunches and comb everywhere in search of this girls.

Nigeria is bleeding and the government that was supposed to take responsibility for the massacre has been silent, firstly it was Christian genocide now it has resulted to killings and kidnapping, during the time of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Tinubu asked for his resignation if he can't combat and tackle insecurity, now he as become the president and the killings has increased thrice, no one has called him out to resign since he can't secure the lives and properties of Nigerians.

Nigeria is no longer a safe place especially the northern parts, Christians and citizens lives in fear of bandits, I have been expecting the president to declare a state of emergency in those states being terrorize by terrorists but the president is yet to give any official statements on the recent killings, all he does is traveling and his people are dying, those in northern parts should take security upon themselves by self defense. They can form vigilantee groups with arms to protect themselves since the president has pay deaf ears to the people's cry.

25 students have been kidnapped from a girls secondary school in Nigeria and we can see that a teacher has been shot, in fact after seeing this heartbreaking news i.e. my heart aches for the kidnapped students in Kebbi State. In fact from what I have learnt these attackers also engaged in a gun battle with the policemen on duty, then imagine how terrifying the situation they created in this girls school located in Maga, in fact a staff member was also shot.

In fact this incident reminds me of a clear incident that happened in 2024 in a school in Kaduna State, where many more students were kidnapped. It is safe to say that this attack highlights the ongoing security crisis in the Kebbi region, and it proves that our girls are not safe even in school.

This killing is not just happening in the north, this matter dey everywhere for this country, but all of these gunmen na Fulani or I don’t even understand them at all, is it because they don’t take anything like school seriously for their life, because all them them doesn’t seem like who go school, they are all small boys, some of them are not even up to 18 but they are holding gun, who is teaching them how to shoot and who is supplying weapons to them, the one I even watched yesterday, they went live on TikTok bro, I don’t know where this county is heading to.

Imagine we were talking about the 25 girls that were kidnapped from their school hostel and Nigerians are busy using their platforms talking about VDM and Mr jellof. APC have failed us totally, this our president is only interested in the next election and I pity those that will cast their vote for him. I pray they find the the girls soon and and bring them home to their parents safely.

See guys to long the long story short bah, Nigeria is becoming a place of fear, to me i think the ppl leaving in Nigeria are all living in fear, and out so called government has no power to save us instead they gambling together with them which is wrong, the honest truth is that if so many souls can just feather around for proper protest to the so called pRESIDENT we have, but on a second thought all this kinding today im our dear country 70% are the cause of the bad government we elected as our leaders to help build the country better.

After hearing all this terrifying stories, what was the actions of the federal government of Nigeria on that unexpected occurrences that have raised tension on the students and nation at large. I would have said the Nigerian government should help but its clear they won't instead they are interested in 2027 election because the country's wealth is there number one target and not protection of lives and property's of citizens. All I will say on the matter is we should be prayerful because it is only God that can help the poor masses find peace at this current stage we are now.

Are you saying a Group of terrorists invaded a school, killed the vice principal,Fired multiples gunshots that lasted for an hour and the military couldn't arrive at the disputed scene on time for the rescue despite been contacted by locals in the area. What happened to our military surveillance aircrafts, dispatch military trained dogs to sniff out their locations out. This is a coordinated attack and the government planned this all along. I suspect the girls have been sold into sex slavery to bore children for  terrorists.

Nigeria is becoming something else with this high level of insecurity. People living in Northern part are really trying.
I'm telling you, they are really trying i must say because with what's going on in the country, I can never advice even my enemy to still reside there especially if he or she is not from the north. Few days ago, one of my friends that finished school, you know how they do it na, after school the next thing is NYSC. Sadly enough he has been on this for some months now and finally his name came out on the senate list. Low and behold he was posted to Kano for his orientation camp.

Since I once lived in the north, he came to ask me on how he will make his journey, I asked him one question, do you want you parents to bury you or you want to be the ones to bury them? He was like what kind of stupid question am I asking him. I just laughed and asked him if he was a stranger to Nigeria, the things going on in the country and in that region, you think it's a child's play. You are from the Southern part of the country, if NYSC cannot post you in your region then forfeit it. It's too risky going there especially now.

I know he wouldn't understand, he might think I'm depriving from serving his country or I'm jealous of him putting on that uniform. The truth is that, those in power doesn't care about what's going, if a whole Nigerian army Brigadier General, someone who has risen to this rank and controls battalion is been kidnapped and killed along side his boys and up till today the army hasn't done anything about it, then we all are in serious trouble in this country.

This country is no longer save for everyone of us,so everybody should always be at alert and become the security of yourself because no one can secure you more than you can secure yourself in this country oooh, you can imagine a situation whereby an army general is be catched and slaughter and nothing is being done about it,then who are we the ordinary person?it therefore means that our life is not save so we need to take a precaution and secure ourselves the best we can and leave every other things to God to handle.

And I will still want to let our government to know that the silent over the insecurities in this country because it's not affecting them or their family rather it's for the poor masses i want to let them know that a time is coming when it will over power them and it will turn back on them.. and back fire them keep on sponsoring them, laughing at another man's death one day it will be your turn..

Same insecurity is the same thing thhis current president used in criticing Goodluck Jonathan's administration, I remember during that time when the chibok girls were apprehended by bokoharam terrorist group the current president took to the media and even held mass protests in lagos calling Jonathan to resign, but now his own administration has even become worst than Jonathan's and anyone who tries to criticise his incompetence would be put behind bars that's dictatorship not democracy. Anyway y'all should stay safe out there cause this country " no longer safe" like the OP said.

In addition, I just saw a news that all 38 kidnapped victims in CAC church Kwara has been released, I don’t know whether the kwara state government pay the ransom or the security do their job, but this is a good news, and I hope this is the beginning of our success, because these people are getting out of hand already.

25 students were kidnapped in Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga. You can read further: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5ypn7pwgv5o

But I watched this video about it instead: https://youtu.be/0jx4Qezuzd8?si=VzFnyBpZRtdeZixd

Nigeria is becoming something else with this high level of insecurity. People living in Northern part are really trying.

Honestly it is  getting scarier everyday now. i dont really understand what game this people are playing anymore,
How can one issue be reoccurring every now and then. Adducting individual and demanding ransom from them.
And if they are unable to to pay they unalive the person.

Nothing is been down to stop this. I saw a new where someone was saying that they should include bandits random money in the budget!! Just imagine that rubbish statement

Is that not encouraging banditry?? Pls we should all be vigilant and stay safe avoid travelling by road as much as you can.
