So if Mr president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made up his mind to tackle the insecurity in Nigeria, let him tackle it generally; they should not only work on rescuing students alone, but work on the general safety of all Nigerians and make this country Nigeria a safe dwelling place for Nigerian citizens. Post by: Abdulzuruku01 on November 23, 2025, 06:50:07 PM It's a welcome idea, tackle insecurities should be number one priority, but it's should be ending all not just to rescue students, because we don't know who will be the next target. The way I dey see things, they're informant among politicians if not who are the bandits to outsmart soldiers that undergoes training for many months, travel out of country helping them to secure peace while those that only limits in bush without gun license training with fear, securities personnel needs to join hands to help end insecurities not just militaries, it's should be both militaries and para militaries duties to help end insecurities in country.
Federal government needs not to negotiate with bandits this term because those so called repented bandits that they reform to join army are still the one giving out information on where to capture our militaries. At first federal government has failed us totally by negotiating with bandits that's why they are increasing in number every day. They should use military format that says to forgive terrorists is God work but military duty is join them with their creator, If tinubu sees that he can't fix the country he should just resign and let military to take over. Tinubu fit dey hold closed door meeting to tackle the increasing rate of insecurity but no go reflect anything or them just dey talk so that citizens fit think say them dey work? For the past one week nah so so sad news we dey see for media and e just look as if nothing the government dey do. E go really mean a lot if the meetings wey Tinubu dey hold with the DSS no go just be empty talk but the necessary actions go dey put in place to stop these bandits and insurgency or abi that one nah very big wish?

Is it today he started having meetings with service chiefs and nothing is really happening from the side of the government concerning the eradication of the bandits as they call them. Just few hours ago I saw a news were they claimed to have rescued some of the victims and the question was, where were they bandits as at the time of rescuing? Because you can't tell us that you went to rescue victims and you didn't have resistance from the abductors, it's never possible. Unless they want to tell us that we don't know the meaning of RESCUE. It's either they paid ransom and if it's that, that's not rescuing. You're even giving the bandits more finances to purchase more sophisticated weapons to abduct more victims. So long as I'm concerned, i stand with late Sani Abacha on his statement that says, any insurancy that exceeds 24 hours, the government has a hand in it. Secondly the joints task force initiative is welcome and it is of course a very good one I pray the success come out of it . Because business are closing, investors are afraid to come and invest in the country due to the high rate of insecurity that alone has slow down the economy and I is very very unfortunate. There should be nothing like reintegration of any bandit into the society. once you’re caught and found guilty, they should be prosecuted immediately. |
