Unfortunately you are posting from a Newbie account. Nobody is going to pay you for these without an escrow and why should they?

There’s been far too much fraud and scamming on this forum over the years. You won’t sell these without a middleman. There are many, very trustworthy people who can escrow for you. Yes, that’s me, I listed it on eBay as well. As you can see I just listed it today as I was told that nobody here would buy without a middleman.

You’re asking somebody to send you $261,000 in Bitcoin (if they bought all 3 pieces) before you send them the coins. I understand why you feel nervous about using a middleman but there are some here who have successfully escrowed millions of $ worth of deals. Sorry bro but you’re not selling these on here with just your word that you will send after receiving the payment.

minerjones would hold the coins & send them to the buyer when they have paid. You could even ask him if you could send him the coins once a buyer pays. He would then ship for you.

You are correct, there is no chance you will sell the coins here with no escrow noting your account age and feedback.

While I do appreciate the offer, I know that with time someone will accept as I’m not really in a rush or anything   :)

From my point of view, if people send hundreds of thousands to actual scams and lose millions to meme coins then why can’t they send hundreds of thousands to someone who has immutable proof that they own the coins? I may be old, but have scams ruined the P2P space completely? Back when I was more active in the community a deal like this would be a no brainer.

No disrespect but asking someone to pay upfront simply because you have immutable proof of ownership is radical.
Essentially, you've implied that you don't have trust in using an Escrow but expect others to blindly trust you.
Unless you find a buyer who is willing to meet local and transact face to face, I suggest you peel/redeem the coins and just try sell their carcasses. Just my 2 satoshi..

You know what? Better leave, or peel those coins and keep the BTC, because you’re never going to sell them like this — if they’re even real.

In fact, you can sell the peeled coins separately and you’ll get at least $1,000 each if the hologram is good.
So right there you already have some profit, nobody takes any risk, and you get to enjoy the 3 BTC. :)

I have no idea why someone would not spend $12 to ship the coins after receiving 200k. But I guess if you are more of a cynic I can understand your point of view. If trust in people and especially our fellow bitcoiners is dead then how will society move forward? Welp! I made a honest try and I’m happy with just holding them if nobody wants them. I’m super bullish on Bitcoin anyhow.

Not a horrible idea. How about half up front for one. I ship it, and then you pay other half once received. If you choose to get all 3 we can work that out as well.

If you don't understand what are the risks in such kind of deals (just to be aware - even "friends" scam you here...)
it's much much better you use just an escrow for both parties pace of mind. If you don't, clear you are here to scam, or to dumb to complete this transaction :)

Better said, never. To put it correctly, I’m convinced it’s 100% a scam. On top of that, on eBay you have to send him the bitcoins first and then he sends you the three coins by mail, risking that they get stolen, lost, or whatever. Hahaha. I don’t think he’s a scammer — he’s just very dumb. Like they say, a very clever kind of fool.

Escrow is Mandatory. We had a 20k scam last month. Guys sells 100k casascius coin. Convincing a newer buyer to send a 20k down payment. Boom, the whole scam was for the down payment. Nobody send this guy anything. Sellers spend years here building trust and their reputations. Anybody who thinks they can show up and gain respect with 2 posts, or even 2 months needs to be thrown out. Were a tight knit group that watches out for each other. Take your scam elsewhere.

I have great photos and pictures of these coins therefore send me 300k upfront and I will for sure get them shipped to you 😂😂

I saw this listing and it just screamed red flags to me. Interesting to see it linked to a post here.

Auction had a pic of 3 Casascius but states you were bidding on just 1 unredeemed 1 BTC Casascius coin. Yet, it had a BIN price of only $49k but in the item’s description said only BTC was accepted?

What a wildly outlandish listing.

I’m here to tell you that someone bought. My eBay listing disappeared because eBay suspended my account due to me using my bitcoin wallet lol. But it’s ok, the sale was NOT from eBay it was from Reddit. And yes that’s without any of the things you recommended.

The truth is that it’s possible for BOTH people to be right about the same topic. Sales are not just black and white.

I know you guys don’t know me, but I am a trusted member of the ETH community. I am a developer and used to develop projects using solidity and encourage investment. The coin WILL be shipped out by the time you read this.

And I am not posting this for your approval or to “gain” something. I’m posting this to show that not everyone is a horrible person.

Wow, I seriously can’t believe how fast you “sold” it, lol. The thing is, you just ended up looking like a fool, brother. You underestimated the intelligence of this group. You’re so clueless and insignificant that it’s not even worth wasting more words on you.

But all of this actually helps the new people joining the group — they learn how to spot a scammer. The group has rules, and one of them is contacting a trusted escrow instead of attacking everyone and playing the victim.

If someone really bought it on Reddit, then that person is an absolute idiot for sending the BTC first. But since that obviously never happened and you’re just making things up, everything’s perfectly clear.

Your coin being on ebay means nothing - scams happen there daily - people sell tons of stuff there they dont have every day there.

Asking someone to trust you when you have earned no trust here and at the same time stating you refuse to trust those who have actually established trust is hypocritical - my two sats.

No one should buy a coin without involving escrow - even if doing in person - just last week a seller (not on here) met a buyer at a bank of all places - the buyer looked at the coin and ran right out the door - there went 1btc and the forks and the cas coin - all gone. Using trusted escrows where payment is made up front avoids this altogether.
