Title: Happy Thanksgiving!
Post by: DireWolfM14 on November 27, 2025, 12:09:35 PM
Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Americans, and people around the world who choose to celebrate.

Thanksgiving, or Family and Feast Day as I like to call it, is one of my favorite holidays.  It's purely about celebrating three of my favorite things; family, friends, and food.

However, within the name of this holiday is a little affirmation; something we should all be doing every single day, all year 'round, but we often forget.  This world makes it easy for us to forget how blessed we are.  We're constantly being bombarded with advertisements for things we can't afford and don't really need in the first place.  We're hypnotized by influencers with extravagant lifestyles.  We're constantly made to feel less-than if we're not living in a large house with fancy cars in the driveway.  We've normalized giving-in to extreme materialism the very day after we're supposed to be giving thanks for the most important things in life.

I'm not suggestion you don't take advantage of the sales, but keep in mind that these sales are often nothing more than well calculated and highly targeted marketing tricks.  If you didn't need this item yesterday, you're not going to miss not having it tomorrow, no matter how cheap it is today.

I also would like to encourage all of you, and as a reminder to myself; think of those less fortunate.  Instead of buying the latest and greatest new ear buds, make do with your old ones for another year and instead, donate that money to charity.  If you're blessed with an abundance of time, volunteer to help the local charity who's feeding the poor.  If you're blessed with cooking skills, make a dish to share with the community at your local house of worship.

Little things like that help unify a community.  This year let's focus a little effort on building and unifying our communities, and a little less on building the coffers of Mega Corp.

God Bless!

My Doctrine made me believe that "it is  a good thing to always give thanks to God."  No matter whatever happens and whatever it takes, we must be grateful and thankful for the little we've got.

Many people occupy themselves with worries and forget to say thank you for the little they got while in the struggle. One thing I have come to realise is that the molre thankful and grateful you are the more doors open for you because when you show appreciation to God and also to the efforts of people in your life, they would be moved to do more because they have that satisfaction in them that you recognise their efforts in their life and by showing a grateful herath towards them neans you acknowledge them for their works.

Therefore, Thanksgiving is an important aspect of appreciation which needs to be practised in acknowledging the good works of God in our lives and nations as well.  We should also show appreciation to those who have, in one way or another, shown us kindness and love in achieving our goals and dreams.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my connections on this forum from the US!

I will actually be celebrating to some degree tonight with some friends.

It is important to keep things simple and not let big corporations bombard us with stuff we
dont need/want especially when they hijack important and celebratory events.

Keep life as simple as possible, its easier on your pocket and will most likely extend your life too.

Life, food, friendship, prosperity and health are just some things celebrated at thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving, Sir.

There is a popular rule before buying anything, it is the 30-day rule that people have to follow. But the sad thing is that most people never follow it. Before buying anything, don't buy it right away; wait a little and ask yourself some questions. Wait for 30 days or even 7 days. Before buying, think: Do I really need this product? Is it worth the money? After waiting, if you feel that you really need the product, then buy it. Nowadays, if people see an offer, they just jump to buy it without thinking. At the end of the day, they just store junk at home. People are not grateful for what they have. We should first think about helping the poor people in society who are financially weak.

Hello Americans, happy thanksgiving day. This is the first time I have ever heard about the US thanks giving day so I had to do a little search across the Web to learn more about the history and existence of this special day, how it originated from the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag people in Plymouth to its role in promoting peace and unity since the American Civil War, today, it symbolises gratidute, Harvest, family gathering and reflection. Permit me to say the story behind this celebration is special, On behalf of the world and bitcoin forum I wish you a wonderful thanksgiving Day filled with turkey, bread stuffing, potatoes, cranberries, pumpkin pie, love and care. Cheers!

Happy Thanksgiving to all those that celebrate it. Enjoy quality time with family and friends, it’s good to step away from charts and obsession with Bitcoin for a day at least. It will all be there tomorrow so no need to obsess.

Happy Thanksgiving! Whether you're celebrating with family, friends or just enjoying some peace and quiet I hope your day is filled with joy and you have time to reflect on anything you're grateful for!

I also wish you best of luck with the turkey shenanigans, and hope none of you forget to remove the giblets from the ol' bird :D.

Wow I never expected something this Deep from a Wolf.
We tend to chase things that don't matter much while missing out on great things around us.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. No wonder I have been seeing post about Turkeys.

FFF. The highlights of the letter F. It's really a beautiful experience in being able able to celebrate with these three complete.

Happy Thanksgiving, we give thanks to our maker for making us witness another wonderful season to spend time with family and friends. Despite the things going on around us, we only heard with our ears..

Also, you all should help pray for my country Nigeria, currently going through the highest level of insecurity and our government seems to have failed us once again. Terrorist have successfully surrounded the whole country taking life like they own it and our government is just sitting down with no plans on stopping it.

It's sad to know that many people won't be able to see their loved ones this thanksgiving because they lost their life's or because the road isn't safe to travel right now. We hope for a better year ahead.

Gobble gobble!

What a year it has been.  The price may have round tripped since last Thanksgiving, but what a ride that was to over $125,000!

I hope everyone's 2026 is just as great and filled with an abundance of joy.

There are many on this forum who choose to try and divide us or cast negativity at those of us who make an effort to provide value to this community, but they can't stop us from being a part of this shared hobby that has brought so much positivity into so many of our lives.  It has been great being on this journey with you.

Remember, there is a lot of evil in the world.  Do good anyway.  :)

We don't celebrate thanksgiving day in Nigeria according to this date.

Though, not today but we do celebrate annual thanksgiving around this period. (Religious and Traditional communities)

The level of insecurity at great cost will deprive many the chance of celebrating together. I hope we come out of this mess, the best security tip will be limiting how we travel, routes we travel through and avoiding gatherings during festive period.

Happy Thanksgiving Day. It is coming late, but I am sure we won't miss it on this side of the world. I recently watched a movie on Netflix this night that was how I knew it was Thanksgiving day. Although it was a horror movie for horror movie lovers, the name of the movie is "Thanksgiving"

Happy Thanksgiving Day once again.

What a year it has been, ups and downs Bitcoin panics and more, but at the end of the day we can only be greatful for life and keep on going, many are not opportuned to get to see a day like this, so we definitely have something to be greatful for.

In Nigeria where I based we truly find value in the opportunity to see another day, because of the insecurity issues we have over here, so once again we are grateful for this year, and also greatful that we shall see next year as well.

I don't agree with you actually. We do celebrate thanksgivings and it's no different from what they do there. The only difference is they prefer to spend more time with families and celebrate it at whereas we do that with both families and religious brothers. Regardless, the point is the reason for the celebration is the same even if we don't have a fixed date.
Thanksgiving is not tied to any religion or race it's just a general celebration of thanks.

Happy thanksgiving to everyone and besides it's almost Christmas more reasons to spread the love.

Happy Thanksgiving to every forum members. Special thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto, the admin of this forum and the inventor of Bitcoin. Maybe if it weren't for Bitcoin and the Bitcoin Forum, we wouldn't be here as a family. Perhaps it is because of this Bitcoin forum that we have the opportunity to express our knowledge, science, emotions, and feelings here today. So I thank you again for the 80th. May you be happy and at peace if you are alive, and may you be well in heaven if you are dead.

We don't celebrate thanksgiving day in Nigeria according to this date.

In Canada, we also celebrate Thanksgiving at the end of harvest.   Tradition says we go around the table saying what we are thankful for.   It hasn't become commercial like the US yet.   Why do you guys want to lump two major holidays together anyway - use them to break up the monotony of dark winter days!

I'm thankful for Justice and being able to help this community.  :)

I did not see Obim34 make any changes to his post but he is correct. He said Nigeria is not celebrating this thanksgiving but that different churches are celebrating their annual thanksgiving in Nigeria also which is true. Like in Baptist Church it is in November but it may not be the same day for other churches.

Every first Sunday of the month is a thanksgiving day for Redeemed Christian Church of God in Nigeria, each doctrines will have theirs also which can be monthly or annually.

Hello American, Happy Thanksgiving Day, I saw about it, and I learned more through the internet, what is Thanksgiving and how is it celebrated, what I saw,
On Thanksgiving Day, everyone expresses gratitude and spends the day with family and friends and eats food together with the family.
Expresses gratitude to God, thanks God, the creator for all the good things in life, watches the Thanksgiving parade, gives charity and feeds the poor and helpless people, and.

I wonder if the world could have been so exciting as we have today without the influence of the US, celebration is what makes the people feels achieved and complete, thanksgiving day is one of the most remarkable holidays in the United States that is widely celebrated, because the people have more reasons to come together and appreciate themselves for many reasons, it's all about giving.

Happy thanksgiving day celebration to all US citizens on this forum and globally!

Thanksgiving, or Family and Feast Day as I like to call it, is one of my favorite holidays.  It's purely about celebrating three of my favorite things; family, friends, and food.
We do thanksgiving but not on a national note like the Americans. Where i come from we do celebrate new yam festival annually as a symbol of good harvest. In some churches, they also do thanksgiving which they commonly call ''a harvest'' and it's mostly done during December periods so we are about entering into a month of thanksgiving and celebration where families, friends and loved ones give thanks to God for his goodness and mercy all through the year.
Of course a thanksgiving celebration requires family, friends, the food and the merriment.

Happy thanksgiving day to you @DireWolfM14, and to Americans. Let love lead!

I'm already late to the party :'( Maybe you can give me the remnant

The turkey looks so delicious. The skin is perfectly golden. No doubt you are a good chef because achieving that color and texture on such a large bird isn’t easy. I tried it once too, but it turned black due to overheating, and I couldn’t get that color. Anyway, have a good Thanksgiving!
