Title: Are Crypto Casino VIP Levels Just a Status Trap?
Post by: NewCryptocasinos on December 06, 2025, 01:12:05 PM
Hey everyone, let's talk about VIP programs.

We all know the deal: you get to a new level, the Rakeback gets slightly better, you feel great... until you see the requirements for the next level. Or worse, you realize you need to play X amount this month just to keep the status you already earned.

The Question is Simple:

Do you feel these VIP and Loyalty tiers are deliberately designed to be just out of reach?

There’s a similar topic like this created recently on the gambling discussion board Casinos Incentivize You to Climb “Tiers” (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5567397.0)

That topic contain same question about VIP tier as a trap?

You should lock this thread since it’s already a duplicate.

If the VIP tiers was designed to be out of reach, then no body would be able to get to the next VIP but regardless of how difficult the next tier could look, there are still many gamblers that will reach it, although not as much as those that won't reach that last tier but definitely many gamblers get there. Do you even know the high number of gamblers who are using massive amount to gamble every day? There are many whales in gambling too, they get to the final VIP tier and while it might look difficult to a small size gamblers, the whales always finds it easy. By the way, we just had a similar discussion, yeah, read the link shared by @AbuBhakar.

Well, casinos will do anything to not only keep their customers, but also to keep them playing/gambling at all times, for what is the essence of keeping a customer they are not making money from?

So I feel the casino have indeed designed the VIP tier system to keep gamblers motivated and keep gambling not minding their gambling outcome like constant loses, those who lose all the time and still have their VIP tier guage increasing feel they didn't lose totally since when the achieve their next VIP rank, they get paid some incentives.
Best way to keep someone motivated in anything is to give them a goal to achieve and I think this is something the casinos have mastered.
