The title is self explanatory;

I want to ask when someone share their winning with the public slot games specifically do you get the thrill to go try out the same game which the person wins on a different casino or you are tempted to go to that exact casino to try you luck?

I’m asking this question because of how popular we can see winnings flying around both by streamers and others which tend to directly advertise the casino they use in that winning in question and most times this games are from popular providers which can be found in other casinos, so what make them think that such advert will attract traffic to the casino being promoted.

Nothing really.. No motivation, no type of greediness, nothing... I always believe what will be, will be. Instead of trying to feel anything negative, I just try to study their pattern and what really pays them consistently-- something they may not even pay attention to in most cases. If I can get my hands on a few odd pattern, timing or anything, I can try to build a different speculation with it and see how it works out for me.

I know someone would straight up see this as a convincing sign to start gambling (that is, if they were not doing that already). That's getting lured, it's a distructive type of motivation. But what exactly do people share their winnings online for, if not for the later?

Before I would think that I can also win as the other gambler anytime I hear their stories not knowing that gamble is not like that. Right now I don't have such mindset anymore because I have understand how risky gamble can be when a gambler did not do it wisely. I don't also believe what streamers are saying anymore because they are only promoting the casino. If I should be focused on those streamers I will eventually lose a lot of money.

I give the winner a mental "high five" and continue with my day. I will only deposit and play on a casino cause I like their game play and find them reputable, not because a streamer promoted it or they posted a big win.

When playing at a later time I may try out the game if it is one I have not played on before, but I tend to stick to the games I usually play.

If there is anything that will push me, it won't be instantly, but maybe next time if you want to gamble, I will like to try out that game which was displayed, especially if the game happens to have a higher multiplier, but I will only do it with my favourite casino and not try it out on a new one because I saw it online.

Depends on the slot game where the win is played, if the game is the one that I have tried before then it wont attract me but if the win is on a game that I have never tried before or even a game that I have never heard about it before then what comes to my mind is "I have to try it at least with few hundreds spins".
Of course will not blindly play the game but I will check the game first to know about the game such as the RTP, the volatility and about how frequent the game give big win.
Once I decided to try it, I will not try to win as big as the one shared by others (I'm referring to the winning amount) but I will try to chase big multiplier with lowest bet as possible.

It is so obvious that when they see someone has won a huge amount then it is going to motivate thousands of others to do the same and hope to recreate the same event. This is a strategic move made by casinos which isn't wrong in any way as long as they are not faking the numbers. While the influencers also does the same to bring the same effect but if they make some mistake like give any kind of impression that they are shilling for a casino and don't care about their audience, then it can create a lot of criticism too.

Each one has their own luck when it comes to gambling, hence, whenever I hear or read a winning story, I am just happy for them. Because we know that not everyone's luck will be the same for everyone. So for me, it doesn't trigger the curiosity to play again. I still play whenever I have extra funds. And of course, it will be like inspiration to others but if you can't afford, then, I would say, don't follow your desires. Because at the end of the day, it is your financials that matter, not your wants or likes.

Don't be carried away by the profits of those streamers, majority of them are fake wins. The casino is crediting their account with fake wins and not real wins. It's a plan work between the casino and their streamers in order to lure people into gambling.

Don't believe what you see on social medias when it comes to casino wins or exchange profits from trading. Gamble responsible because what work for me might not work for you

There is no guarantee that you would win if you follow the same game or use the same casino as someone who won. Everyone has their personal experience with gambling. You also need to be aware that these popular gambling streamers might not be real. Some of them showcase fake wins to gain more subscribers or followers. I am not moved by the wins the show on their channels. I am focused on my own gambling activities. But I congratulate friends who win big and it gives me hope that I might be lucky someday.

Most of those "winning stories" are only shared by these casinos or streamers to lure in unsuspecting gamblers. That's their main aim for blatantly flaunting those big and massive jackpot wins.
If by any chance the wins are real, then good for the player, congrats, but just like everybody here will tell you, most of those are fake, so, meh.  ;D

I always dismissed it as nonsense. I mean, those advertised slot wins are just empty promises. I always thought every gambler had different luck. So, I was never motivated to try what others had achieved, even though it seemed tempting.

Gamblers are always chasing those big wins, and right now slots are basically the most popular game out there. So it’s a perfect setup for streamers to hype up the casinos they’re promoting and pull in a bunch of new players by publicizing his big win.

The reason why they chose such methods for promoting their casinos is because they don't only want existing players or gamblers getting attracted towards their casino, but they want to attract new gamblers into their platform, and when streamers advertise a casino showing big wins and stuff, they might have a large audience and among them, there might be a lot of people who have an interest in gambling but they don't currently have a platform to do it, so those advertisements and promotional tactics are to capture such newbie gamblers.

Someone who is already registered on multiple casino platforms, this trick will obviously not work for them, because as you said, even if they find that game tempting and want to try it out, they won't need to go to that specific casino and create an account only to try this game, because they can possibly find it in the casino they are already registed if the game is from a game provider. However, if the game being played is an original, then the matter will be different.

Yeah sometime it tempted me to try the game and wish to hit the multipliers, that's.

It's really normal, when you see someone else doing that make them successful or get something else, you will interested to try it out. As long as it doesn't make you to go reckless and aim to hit the same multipliers, you will be fine.

I think people are definitely influenced by hearing the success stories of others. That is why various advertisements about gambling are being made to promote success stories of gambling so that people are attracted to gambling. Yes, I myself have realized this. When I had not started gambling, I came to know about gambling from a friend of mine. I feel excited about success story, yet I won't be compulsive because of that.

That's how it ought to be when we hear about other gamblers huge win, it shouldn't be what to motivate us off our normal gambling pattern, it shouldn't be what to feed our greed because no huge win comes out of greed but rather it's a highway to major losses. I know for sure that all gamblers don't share the same luck, and besides, this type of big winning doesn't repeat itself all the time; the system won't allow that. The only reason I would just choose to try the same game out if I ever have a gambling budget is if they somehow have a higher maximum multiplier than the ones I play, to gain the experience, especially if it's a game I have not tried out before, but all that will be done in the casino I'm used to. I won't rush into a new one because I saw someone win, which I'm not really sure how true the winning is.

I don't really think about it too much because I know that they got lucky...luck is something that anyone can experience at anytime...if you get motivated by the results others are getting from gambling you might lose yourself in the process...I don't get phased by the winning story of other people because I can also get the same results at anytime as well...it is just a matter of time and being patient enough and not everyone knows the patience game.

That is true and this success stories attracting others interest doesn't only happen with gambling it happens in so many other aspects of life that anyone close to us happen to win or be winning, it's attracts huge interest that those interested will want to be be like the person winning, to me whenever I see those stories the first thought will be like I it was me this is ok because every one wants to be a winners in one thing or the other and not a loser, initially majority of us was treating gambling as a means of getting money because we have seen someone that has won and we developed interest only to realize that it is better to gamble for fun if you are lucky winning can come some day of course it can be huge.

It won't attract me to want to play in their casino, but what about others? Most especially those newbies that are usually thrilled by small wins or they have probably been in loss for a long time then finally saw someone doing same thing they did why losing, suddenly gets motivated to try again. The thing about these streamers or promoters, most of those games have been manipulated to favour them. I have no proof but we see mostly that when they are promoting these casinos they usually make good amount of wins. It's just like they have become some pro in the games, which to me isn't true. It's just something that's made up to lure gamblers.

When I see someone else achieve something great and share it on social media, it acts as social proof. It sends a subconscious message to our minds, “If they can do it, maybe I can too.” It creates a sense of curiosity or “Why cant I?”

Also, ads &   social posts usually highlight the successes, while hiding the losses. The big wins, hype &  dopamine rush combine to make gambling seem more hopeful than it is, creating an illusion that encourages many to try the same game or platform.  For many gamblers, these kinds of stories are incredibly powerful. They play on hope, FOMO, social pressure &  the misconception that if you play it right, you too can win

Not at all, their winnings and someone's usual players' betting results can't be the same. For me, if they are telling their story of how they won and hit jackpots, etc., I just listen to them and nothing else because our luck is not the same. This does not mean that if something is good for them, it will also be good for me, they have their own luck, and I have mine. If they can tell their losses and the factors through which they occurred, that is really important for me. I keep that information and take the lesson. Other than this, neither their win nor loss can motivate or demotivate me.

Getting carried away by someone's winning is the last time I will do. This winning stories are properly program just to deceive the little faith gamblers, it is only the gamblers that doesn't know about this streamers that would easily fall for their fake stories.

Because they are doing this just to make the desperate gamblers feel they can easily make it through gambling, so we should always try as much as possible to make our own decision.

When I see adverts with my level of knowledge of gambling all I say in my mind is fallacy because basically, it’s just about promotion and it’s never going to be the reality of gambling, since I already know this it’s very difficult to keep winning or win as easy as it been displayed so I don’t just take them seriously. So if you still get motivated with this adverts then your not yet much experienced with gambling it could be very difficult for you to over come the desire to gamble.

It's intriguing when I see others win and they're attaching where they've won that and what game they've played.
I don't usually go where they gamble and if the game is available to the casino where I gamble, I just play the game.
Going to the same casino is fine thinking that you'll also absorb the same luck that guy has won.

I've read hundreds of stories about wins at different casinos in different types of games, so when I read another one, it doesn't surprise me anymore. I play my games and have my own tactics; other stories don't motivate me in any way. I don't know why that is; maybe I'm just not a very impressionable person.According to my observations, my friends have the same attitude.

When I hear gamblers' success stories, I only wish I was the one who won that amount of money, but I have never been tempted to  play the same game they played so I'll win mine too.  It is not even nice running to gamble because someone told you they won from playing that particular game. If I get triggered everytime people announce their wins, majority of my games will definitely end in bad news 

When I see someone's winning story, I think about how lucky they are and I also think about how long they can keep their winnings. Because every winning attracts gamblers to gamble more and more and gradually they lose all their winnings. So, winning in gambling cannot be kept for long. So I get very excited when I see someone's story and I don't appreciate it too much because since I myself have gambled a lot for a while, I know a lot about gambling. So when I see someone sharing their winning story, I just call them a fool.

However, now I have had quite an experience and have been able to come back from that, and sharing stories gives me some excitement, but I drown it out, and I stake my bets based on my ability to lose.

Absolutely right, it is better not to chase after someone's win. Some wins are designed to deceive people, who actually have no idea about new streamers and will fall victim to fraud by believing these videos or stories. So we always have to be aware that it is absolutely foolish to make betting decisions based on such streamers. They show various lures to gamblers so that gamblers can easily win money by betting quickly. So it is always wise for us to know about that site well before betting on a new site.

Gambling has never been a big deal to me. I do it especially when I feel that I haven't done it in a while, or when I see feel that I might be getting some predictions right especially in sports betting. For me there is almost no temptation to chase somebody else’s win because gambling has never been something I depend on or look at as a path to money. At first what comes into my mind is "How I wished it was me" But then again I have to seat back and watch, have a rethink that before this gambler succeeded having such amount of winning he could have ended up losing something higher than what he gained, thus some people may not be that way but just being luck.
Gambling is designed to give its player 1/10 outcome as a result, before one could possible having 10/10 of winning then I must say that person may have ended up losing something very large from him.

People can be so funny, i have seen many times when someone won on slot games and a lot of people that heard about the winning rushed to that particular casino to also play thinking they will also get lucky. Even in winnings from sports betting, if it a huge winning you will see many people will start meeting the winner to predict games for them to bet. One thing you should just know is that huge winnings from gambling drags public attention, both those who plays gambling and those who doesn't play gambling are always interested whenever they hear about a huge win.

I am sure most will get the temptation to try and win on the same game, but reality is different it always slap us with reality check. ::)

Influencers don't even promote a legitimate casino, they are selling anything to their viewers as long as the brand is willing to pay their contract amount and deceive the people by claiming it is easy to win money, you can win with your skills and even they can advice that get rich by gambling here. Honestly those kinds of people should be jailed.

Some of them are influencers or marketers so if someone should follow them the person maybe misled, so it's obvious that some of the casinos have people they work with to promote their brands, and when they're done with fake things, it will attract people to gamble with their site, so I believe that some gambling website do look for traffic with style, by mobilising fake streamers to deceive people.

The problem I have with some of them is the fact that they lost unrealistic goals and money just to lure people into using their betting platform or to join their VIP platform..

Naturally, news of a big win is spread by a casino, people start thinking that luck can be found in that casino. But those who are a little experienced think that it is not for a specific casino, but if the game played or the provider by which the game is operated is on another casino platform, it is possible to find their luck there. If a platform regularly wins big, then other gamblers trust that platform. When a person asks to join that platform to run a site, many people join that platform or many may even avoid it. Naturally, when a promoter promotes something like that, some people will be eager to use that specific platform.

At the early stage. There was a time where I had this belief that some slot games pay more than others and when I see someone post about their winnings and multipliers on a slot game I usually try it out myself and sometimes it works though not as effective as what was posted but that is to be expected. Yes, before, especially when I was still a beginner, that's what I thought when I saw other people, especially influencers, achieve big wins, and often that spectacle encouraged me to play.

But now I feel normal when I see other people win. It's not that I don't want to be in their situation, but because I know and understand that even if I try, even in the same casino and with the same games, it doesn't mean the results will be the same as those I see. I don't play slots but even if I do play  it i won't be move or tempted to go play because there's no guarantee you would win too and sometimes they use this winning to attract people to come gamble and some of these people that do win this money sometimes after sharing their wins or advertising it, they will still go back and lost everything unless they use the money for something reasonable but if they don't use it somewhere they will be tempted to go try luck again and sometimes when they do, believe me they will lose more than they have won in that casino and after that it will be looking like a dream.

I think "good for them", but it comes with a caveat - did they actually cash out or did they just immediately plow it all straight back into the casino. Chances are if someone has a sizable slots win it is either because they are a new player (who might receive generous treatment in the algorithms) or they have put in a lot more money than they have just won. If you enjoy slots just for a casual bit of fun, then there is nothing wrong with that and you accept the style of game you play for entertainment. If you think that you will radically transform your life or even unlock life changing amounts of money, then you don't understand the dynamics of how casinos operate and are likely to lose a fair bit of money unless you wise up.

In a way, I might be tempted depending on the situation. If it's a casino that i use normally, when i decide to gamble again, there is definitely a thrill to try out the particular slot. The difference is that i don't take it as a must to gain from the story earlier on, as long as my gambling habits remain unchanged, then there is nothing bad about it.

Very happy and even though it wasn't me but at least someone has managed to win from the gambling site, then another thing again is for them to be able to utilized their winning without sending it back to the casinos as most people does, immediately they have winning they would mind trying to increase their bet to see if they could be that lucky again to gain something more higher than expected. Hell No! There’s no way in hell that I’ll read someone’s win on a casino game and then I’ll feel motivated to go and try the game. Maybe if this question was asked during my early days in gambling I would have answered with a positive answer but with my experience in gambling I have been able to realize so may things and because of that I no longer do some things I used to do back in the days.

I think 99% of gamblers already know that casino games are based entirely on luck (there are still some who think their strategy can make them win) so it will be foolish to read about someone winning a specific game in a casino and then you’d decide that will be your next game, there’s a high probability that you’ll never win something substantial from that game, you might even have a better chance winning your previous game than the new one you migrated to because of a silly win story you read online.

I haven’t gone through every responses on this thread, I’ll do so but before then I’m hoping all the responses won’t disappoint me because if there are people like that then they need to be checked, unless they have results to show for it that they have actually won something good after switching to a game mentioned in a win story.

The news that may have the bigger effects may not be the one spread from the casino, but the news about a win from someone you have a direct contact with like a close friend even a family has a bigger effect, you feel the effect more and the need to want to gamble more thinking you can be as lucky as they have been. I ask myself, did he really win or is he lying? I mean maybe he really won that particular bet but what good is it if in the past he lost more than the profits he got from the bet that he won? Wouldn’t it be lying? No, he isn’t lying to us. He is lying to himself in this case.If he really won big and his past losses were insignificant, then i would feel good about him. I think I would be happy regardless of his past losses but you know, if he didn’t lose much, that would make me even happier.

When I see someone sharing a story of winning a large amount or any amount, one thing comes to my mind and that is how unlucky I am. And then the thought comes, aren't they actually doing paid promotions for any casinos? Because indirectly, many such promotions are currently happening online.

The most important thing I do asked when someone win is the strategy they uses to gambling or places bet, for sports gambling there are people who usually engaged themselves with correct score and when they thing about the out they wouldn't mind staking it higher to give them what they wanted, same thing applicable to slot games because they might fund their account and be spinning for long term before they could make winning. Definitely winning promotion will attract more gamblers, the game type differ mostly when a person is not well educated about the game. What comes to my mind is that, he had a lot of experiences in gambling, maybe he does have a lot of money for gambling or maybe pure luck. I don't want to get FOMOd with other's history because like what we're saying, we have differences and some might work to others but for you, it will not work. So yes, I'll be happy that gambling is a life-changing to then I'll stay the same and do my routine with discipline. The fact that you want to be others and try to test luck, it could be the reason why you could have problems right now, so I won't really recommend it.

It doesn't work like that, if that happens to you that means you are only chasing someone else's success story not gambling from your own will and will be dangerous to you which might just lead to addiction, this is what happens to most of the new gamblers since their orientation about gambling is wrong, instead of gambling for fun, they gamble for money , you don't even know if that person is the casinos agent or promoter that are out luring people gamblers in making more money for themselves, one needs to be very careful not to be a prey, because how sure are you that if you follow his pattern and strategies you will win your game..

But of course, I don't easily believe them because most real winners don't expose themselves in public. They prefer to keep it secret and hide from the crowd rather than being proud. Anyone who gambles after seeing others win and feel motivated might likely lose out. I don't gamble with that feeling because it has not always turned out well for me, I get this adrenaline rush that drives me to gamble impulsively and the outcome is always the same on most occasions.

So I learnt not to gamble based on what I see, but when I'm fully prepared mentally to gamble with a relaxed mind and a focused mindset. Gambling needs a lot of mental strength so it's not something you would engage in blindly, using someone else's success story to determine your own success is not a wise decision because the outcome might not be the same.

I have read articles or watched stories many times about people winning huge amounts from gambling, and my reaction is that I don't feel any envy towards them at all. Perhaps I just think, "Wow, they're so lucky" that's really my only response to what I read and watch in youtube.

If there are gamblers who show off their winnings, maybe that is what makes them happy. It could also be that they are bragging, or as others say, they are simply providing inspiration to others to remain patient, as their luck will eventually arrive too. You're right, what we see can't be used as motivation in gambling because in betting, we can't know the final outcome, even if we use the same methods as those who win. I completely agree with you that when we want to bet, we must focus on the bet in progress and make thoughtful decisions. If we rely on the methods used by others to win, it's highly unlikely we can repeat the same results.

I am neither jealous of them nor envy them, but before I may feel like try to win huge am of money, I have done this with many failed attempts and I stopped doing it. This is what most gamblers will also feel like, to try to win huge amount of money also. It is good to know that people do not envy who they do not know but knowing them just because the person win huge amount of money, envying people envy just those people that they know very well and not people they do not know or close to.

About stories. Some are really genuine. Others are clearly faked or just to impress /provoke a reaction... Anyway it's not really hard to get details on what happens really...

Where is the catch? Usually these days someone is faking it for social media posts, for promoting some place with lies or some other reasons. One must be very careful with any kind of story on the internet nowadays. Generally bad casinos use fake stories to get new people to play there.

You get this correctly. How can we trust any of these stories? And how do we as individuals benefit from trust in them? There is not a good reason to trust like this, we won't derive any real benefit from it but we may be hurt in many ways depending on just how fake the story it is. It could even be a new player that is set to scam and is making up fake data and stories about wins, and then they will scam whens someone deposits a lot of money on the platform. Generally with the internet it is always better to be very cautious with everything. That is the best strategy.

It is definitely tempting when you heard about someone's winning testimonies but as an experienced gambler, you either don't have to act as witchcraft of felling jealousy over someone's victory and you also don't take out of greeds to undergo a level of risks that is not your affordability just because you also want to catch a similar winning story.

If the winnings are shared by streamers or promoters, I won't be interested at all. Even if it's not a streamer or promoter, but it's something shared online by somebody I don't personally know, I'd still be suspicious and won't be tempted to try.

What others do when they see someone's big win or hear their winning story is entirely a matter of their psychology. There are some of us, some of whom will think that if they can win by playing like this, then I can too. On the other hand, the other group will think that it is their luck, that is, they won. I don't even know how to formulate it. If I see a lucky guy, then I don't have such an initial urge to immediately play in the same place where he won. I generally have complicated feelings. That is very good question regarding casino advertising, which is effective as it uses two mind tricks, Availability Heuristic, and Illusion of Control. When individual watches streamer win on Casino X, single exciting win is easy to remember and clear, which fools viewer into believing that winning is easier than it is. This causes them to want to play at that casino (X) since they believe that whole place is currently lucky or hot and that excitement and feeling of winning place is being moved to that certain brand other than game itself is due to win.

If it’s coming from a streamer I automatically assumed it’s fake or not worth it to admire since they have unlimited funds coming from the casino sponsorship just to create a content and stream for promotion so they are destined to hit this big win due to their unlimited tries.

The only story that I admire is from someone that playing with a limited bankroll like reputable members sharing their win or my friend in social media because they earned that big win by trying their luck with limited spin.

I’m not easily encouraged to play by someone story because I have my own set schedule for my entertainment.
