Often time it is said that united we stand but divided we fall. Unity is very important, it holds and keep us together. Let us be united to succeed.

If the people are united, they can achieve anything they wanted, but when they are divided, they will not even achieve the least possible thing about life, when there is unity, everything works in the interest of others, we cant afford not to be inline with the people we live together with, as a nation also, we have to be united, so that we cant be divided, because it will be possible to achieve a common goal.

What it takes a united assembly to build in five years, another that's not united might take upto ten years in an attempt to build it and might never get the job done. Even the holy book, The Bible talks about the power in unity and it clearly shows that with unity, there's nothing you set your mind to doing that you can not do. In unity, you can easily create a system that last a lifetime but in disunity, it crashes and gets destroyed so easily.

If the world is united, there won't be wars, famine, economic sabotage and warfare and political rivals. But it seems that there won't be unity in most nations if it's about the political leaders that we have. We as human beings, we can initiate it first with our families, next with friends and other strangers and the community or neighborhood that we're part of who are in it for unity of all.

This is a line that is often use to strike for peace, it is meant to reduce tension in the populace but this has been overrated because people are now taken for granted by the politicians and government who use that as their mantra. You tell people to be united for them to achieve something and you don't keep to your own part of making the peace that will make people not to think of division. Government is the culprit to this, they should do what they preach and not to be the knife that pierce the centre and fibric of what holds people together.

United we stand, divided we fall is a phrase that expresses the weakness of division and what it can cause in a group that is not in unity.
A group of people who are not in unity don't coexist among themselves for the success of one another. It is jealousy, conflict, and lack of cooperation that will exist among them, leading to the group that was once strong failing to achieve its goals

Ants can serve as a good case study when it comes to unity

They're are very small creatures yet when they want to achieve things they come in group and put hands together, each one lending a hand where needed and with resilience and multiple united hands you see them moving objects 10x their size lol
Unity has proven to be more effective than diversity when it comes to achieving great things. Yes, some persons are lone wolves and like to work alone however the power of coming together and working with like minds cannot be discredited.

Yes where there is unity everything moves as expected and continuously beyond human imaginations except on a long run the opposite happens. Unity they say is the mother of happiness and love but can only be destroyed if the attributes of unity is destroyed. Some of the things that unit people together is love and love is the greatest of all because where there is love there won't be betrayal or enviness but when the love dies expect the unthinkable

It is obvious, when more people holds hands together then the power for that matter, holds more power but the reason is also important. If one man is standing for the right reason is much better than a hundred people joining or united for the wrong reasons.

Moreover humans are social animal and we evolved this much in the life cycle because of the unity.

When I was much younger, when our elders want to tell us about the power of unity, they’d always use our local broom stick to sight an example, the brooms are usually in bunches and whenever they’re together, it’s impossible to snap them with your hands no matter how hard you try. But when the brooms are untied and separated, it becomes very easy to snap and break them one by one. I never forget this illustration because it’s the perfect example of the importance of unity, when people are united, they tend to accomplish much together, but doing even the most menial task alone could become very tiring and might take much longer to accomplish.

It's very true that united we stand and divided we fall. You will not understand what you can achieve when you are united. Unity is very important be it the family or amongst friends or business partners. When you are united, it's shows that you all have the same goal and you can imagine a lot of people working on the same goal, and we all know that they will definitely achieve more that when they are divided. I think this is a very good topic, because most people don't understand the power in unity.

Trust and betrayal are a big issue that prevents unity among people. For unity to happen, they need to have like minds in achieving one goal, but if at the end of the day, someone has trust issues, they still wont achieve it since it will create a division among them. Where I come from, unity has never been the order of the day. You will see the masses agree on one thing, only for someone to betray them. What is reigning are cartels, mobs, etc, as long as it is evil unity will prevail immenstely.

Unity certainly gives strength but it is not always the case that everyone will get the best results if they are together. Sometimes when the team is big there is no consensus, if someone does not do their job properly the whole team falls behind, again if there is excessive dependence, people cannot use their power properly, I think real strength comes only when the team is united but everyone inside also handles their responsibilities properly. This means that it is important not only to be together but also to work together properly.

Where there is unity, yin will see love and it is what we should apply to everything we are doing. People that are not United will be be able to build or related to themselves because of the hatred in them. The best way to destroy a relationship or a family is to create disunity in them and that is what will scatter every plans they might have heard in the past. Unity is the backbone of development in our society and that is what will make people to put their resources together and build the society.

There is unity in diversity take for instance one can easily break a stick of broom but find it difficult to break a bunch of a broom.until we realise the power of unity it will be difficult to achieve our common goals.a nation divided along religious, political and ethnic line would always experience divergence of issues that will affect them negatively.a united nations of would always work collectively to correct wrong decision of the government

My country isn't united and that affects the government because the citizens don't have one voice. When the people are united as one, they can elect out bad governance through their votes. This is what the government understands and they divided us by making each tribe hate one another so that, the citizens wouldn't speak in one voice and be united.

When people actually come together and move as one, things just work better. There will be more peace , more understanding and everyone can focus on growing instead of arguing. Unity makes life smoother because everyone is pushing in the same direction instead of pulling apart.
And the truth is all the unnecessary conflict and drama just holds people back. When we choose unity, we create space for progress and real change. Let’s remember that working together always takes us farther than fighting ever will.

If you think about anything individually, there will definitely be negative aspects. But if you are called to do something together, it can be done successfully. Unity is certainly good, but in some cases, many people use unity to encourage negative actions, one of them is a politician. He usually tries to bring people together to convince them that everyone supports him. When people are usually brought together in a rally or meeting, it is generally noticed by everyone. Again, when someone goes to claim their rights, people usually have to come together, otherwise people will never be able to claim their rights. Unity is of great importance in all fields.

If the story of tower of babel is true then, the power of unity should be examplary to whom that seek to know more about unity. Power of unity can not be over emphasize, because unity in a nation and society growth and development, is always obviously as where such is found is full of achievement, as they tackle challenges with a good yielding result.
The easiest way to identify nation, society or family weakness is the level of their unity, weak unity gives access to many failure, violence and backwardness, it creates easy penetration of enemies ushering defeat before the people of weak unity. Unity is a key and strength which everything survive under, without which progress and development surfer harm to survive.

Unity is very strong in a nation, families, communities and the society. When people come together with one purpose and mind they intend to achieve things that seems impossible. If we are united we intend to look out for one another share ideas and we will be stronger together.

But when we're divided, everything will fall out of place, there won't be trust, small things will turn out to be an issue, people will be facing different directions and the strength that will be used to move forward will be wasted on misunderstanding and fighting one another.

That's why unity is very important in our communities, families and most especially in our nation. We can't move forward if everyone of us thinks for only itself. But if we stand together, work together to achieve a common goal,give respect to eachother we will grow stronger as one. Unity isn't something or a word rather it's power that than being a change of everything.

I use to hear of this adage that people do say, if you want to go fast, then go alone, but if you want to go far, then go together, we should understand all these and also try to work in hand together with each other, because when we are united, we will not be able to fall apart from anything or regardless of any challenges we face, the bond of togetherness will keep us moving and strong altogether.

This adage is true o.if you truly want to go fast, you should just go alone but if you want to go far, then you should go together meaning when you are alone you can move quickly and make decisions faster with no arguments and no waiting for another person but the road gets longer the problem looks bigger and one day you get tired and stuck and you might just make the sole decision of not doing any longer there by backing off. But when you go with others especially the good people, things might take you more time maybe during decision making process, deliberations etc but when one person fails it is easier for the others to lift him and when challenges also come to bear, you are able to face it and solve it collectively.

It’s unfortunate that a lot of people do not really know a thing about unity. I see people going against the very people who they are meant to fall back on when shit gets down, yeah going alone may seem like the fastest way to grow but the truth is that you’ll be leaving yourself vulnerable. There’s no way you can be able to protect yourself all the time, you’ll need people to back you up, but when you’ve left everyone behind, there’ll not be a single person to come to your aid.

Of course, you're right. Everyone knows that, but let's take a good look around ourselves, and not just ourselves, but let's take a good look at the world at large today, is there any sign of unity?, No there is none. Men rising against men... Nations rising against nations... People enjoy seeing others crumble to the ground and beg at their feet,... there is wickedness in the heart of so many.

Unarguably, there is power in unity, but what will eventually be the fate of the world in the next 2-3 decades when religious and personal beliefs has created division among the people already?. Just imagine a generation where taking the lives of another just because they don't agree with you, is the only way to set things straight. Indeed, we all need to be united, otherwise, the cracks that has been created by this division is definitely going to bring down the entire foundation with time.

That's a valid and tough observation. It’s definitely easy to feel overwhelmed by global divisions. But maybe we don't need uniformity to achieve unity; we just need a shared, fundamental goal

That’s a solid way to put it. Unity isn’t about everyone thinking the same, it’s more about having a basic sense of responsibility toward each other. I’ve noticed even in small groups, once people stop listening and only push their own views, things fall apart fast. Real progress usually starts when people decide the common goal matters more than being “right.
