We have come up with a fun game for Fluttercoin's PoT feature called "Pass the Flutter". Here's how it works. A few of us have donated a bunch of 'packs' of 500 FLT or more to get things started. Players send these packs back and forth and all around to each other, only costing the player 0.01 FLT each time for the transaction fee. Some lucky players will win a PoT reward, stated in the pdf as half the block. Where else can you get 100 chances to win for 1 FLT? This process gives us a chance to win the PoT reward of 2500 FLT while meeting some of the finest FLT community members!

ஐ Requirements:

ஐ Be sure to post if you win! Screenshots are welcomed.
ஐ Please post who you are sending to and the amount.
ஐ Transactions must contain more than, not equal to, 500 FLT to qualify for PoT.
ஐ If you are injecting a new pack of 500 into the game, please make the amount unique and preferably in order. Or send your donation to the support team below and we will take care of it for you. Example: we have 5 packs of 500 all sent as 501, 502, 503, 504, 505.
ஐ Post your "pass the flutter" address in your sig or include it in every post.
ஐ If players need to send game coins to somebody ASAP, Halofire or Dkdance will be "Return Points". This was meant for players who are going to be away from the game for a long while (i.e. sleep, work, vacation, etc), donations for the game itself, or for any other reason.
ஐ Please do not send more packs to a player that has 2 packs in their possession already. Exceptions are the support team.
ஐ If you don't want to play anymore, please post that you are done playing.

I like this idea although maybe you should limit it to people with ___ activity so we don't get newbies running off with the coin (I don't know how much it is worth)

something to remember, it has to be more than 500 coins to hit a Proof of Transaction reward. so typically we send 501. there are about 2500 coins we have circulating already.

so download a fluttercoin wallet and try to hit some free coins with us!

oh, and im pretty sure the reward is a flat 2500 coins, but i don't know if the sender and receive both receive 2500 reward

DKdance: nice job :) but please edit or add to my original quote. PoT reward is 2500 FLT, not 2x the amount we bet, therefore anything we add to the original wager is pointless, only need to send 501. if people want to send different amounts to keep track easier, have at it. :)

Its not possible to download the wrong fork using this method.  All those nodes are operating on the correct blockchain.

Some previous block hash must match with an adress turned into HEX, if it match with an adress this adress get rewarded.

Stinkypete, backup your wallet.dat file. then in the wallet console, try entering: repairwallet
then restart wallet.
If it works remember to delete the backup you made.

For the reward, do you have to wait for the coins to be confirmed before you know if you get a PoT reward?

hmm good question. You probably wouldn't see a reward till the transaction is confirmed, but I'm not sure.

I think its safe to say 501 and 506 are with abus3r1 for my list and all coins are accounted for at the least.

yeah i know, i sent him another set of 501 yesterday, but from his post history he sent the original one two days ago, but he hasn't posted since the one i sent yesterday.

and yeah it's definitely not proof of stake, i had just starting mining coins a few days before. it's been there since it happened, it's not new. i just thought i would post it to show that i received it without actually sending coins, it came from mining. but i don't know if it was from the pool sending coins to me. i really don't know. it doesn't seem to be numerically related to the other transactions.

Welcome back! Good question, to my knowledge, it shouldn't affect anything except what you play with. thekidcoin is the dev of FLT and I would direct your question to him to verify. The 500's we play with aren't your coins to begin with unless you donated, so you wouldn't be losing PoS on those anyway, but I know what you mean. Like if coins follow FIFO - first in first out, but coins don't exist, only keys saying how much coin is in each key.

MAYBE to help. You can create a second adress where you send let's say 5 FLT to cover the fees of our game and receive the packs.

I understand they are not my coins. When I send out the 501 later are they the same 501 coins or are they being pulled from my stake? Basically are they FIFO or LIFO?

I've had such a bad time wth the multicolor link, Page 1 updated too.

I'm not the dev, but I don't think FIFO LIFO exists since the wallets use keys, not coins. I was just acknowledging what I thought you
meant. :) As long as you let the received coins confirm before you send coins back out, I'd imagine you should be fine.

sorry man i think you will need more than 2 posts before someone will send you some flutter. you might need to send one of us a chunk of coins first if you have them. it's not the value of the coin that would be missed if it were stolen by some random on the internet, it's more of a demoralizing thing. it would kind of shit on our game a little.

Please check the summaries I am providing every few hours before you ''pass the flutters''. Reason I provide the summary as frequent as I have been is so players don't get sent more than 2 packs. I have been messaging players who haven't moved game coins in 24 hours, players don't see the deposit sometimes so I ask them to check their wallets and has yielded 100% returns up until this point. If someone has 2 packs, please choose someone else. This limits how many coins can grow legs and leave the game, especially if the price continues to rise.

yeah, blackcoin for me, ultracoin has it too at 20%  :o BUT ultra is 1 year before coins are matured to even stake, and there's no way to see how it works yet, if there's any bugs or unknowns.

what is BC POS specs ? Is it 1% ? 1 year before 1 stake, this is an adventure ;)

BC is 1% per year. BC not so great for interest, but its great and only coin with meter for learning and watching PoS, until now, since I asked kidcoin to incorporate the stake meter. BC are able to stake after 510 confirms, or 8-9 hours. BC is super popular and getting expensive, but I consider it to be beginner level PoS, unless you have a huge bag. It has been one of few coins gaining value last few weeks. been playing with bc since it was 400 satoshi's but i sold them all cuz i thought bc's PoS wasn't worth it. Bought back some, but not what i originally had.  BC minting looks like your image for philosophers, save for the amounts and timings.

Not currently into philosophers stone, never really looked into it. Waiting for asics so i can build efficient rigs. Don't care about asic-resistant coins, they aren't proving useful. So many mixed feelings with every coin i've ever played with, ya know?

So POS happens often on BC ? But a small amount every days ?

Mingophoria hasn't returned 2000+ coins, to my knowledge. I messaged him 4/17 when he said would be available to re-issue the coins. No reply.

Seattletu sent me 505 awhile ago. Don't know where the other two packs are at this point. DKdance is 506? 502 was with seattletu, but he sent me 505 while he held 505 and 502. so idk where things stand.

I'd say game's dead, been 5 days since last exchange. Also, FLT are becoming worth too much which means higher chance of thievery. Currently worth $5 usd per 500. If anyone else wants to play, please do! I have 505, if someone starts up the game in this thread again, PM me. Until then, I'll hold the pack. I will also still accept coins to be re-issued. As creator of the game, 'pass the flutters', I have been sitting on 2528 FLT for about a month. I held them to see if anyone wanted to continue and take over the game, but no response except 1 person. I have sent the game coins to Kidcoin to use for FLT development, as he sees fit. While I donated FLT to the game, I do not see it fair for me to keep any since I can't redistribute the other coins fairly, so I donate all.
