Good. Including Bitcoin can be wise if your resolution is to learn about it. Treat it as education first. Understand it’s a high-risk asset, not a quick fix. Only invest money you can afford to lose. Done responsibly, it’s a valid financial goal.

This is a good one. However, it is important for everyone who intends to include Bitcoin in their portfolio or life by next year to know why they are doing so in the first place. Are they looking for a good online investment option they can adopt or simply  considering Bitcoin because of the hype it is getting? It is worthy to note that the success of this resolution is to a great extent determined by the motive behind it, which will in turn determine how the investor choose to go about it.

A genuine investor who's seeking Bitcoin for investment purpose will know that he needs to study Bitcoin, learn it, understand it and the risks involved. He is not looking for quick gains, but something that will accumulate gradually till it turns into something very significant.

Investors who just want to get bitcoins for the hype may end up disappointed too early. That is why, I will tell anyone who is looking for get rich quick opportunities never to consider Bitcoin in their 2026 resolutions.

We should not be too emotional about Bitcoin, but rather take action wisely. We should not accept Bitcoin with the arrival of the New Year or be interested in accepting Bitcoin for the purpose of making quick profits, this may lead to the opposite. Because Bitcoin is very lazy in providing profits, Bitcoin needs to provide long-term time, only then will it be able to provide maximum profits. If you rush, Bitcoin may fail to provide profits or may not be able to provide maximum profits.

I am not usually a fan of someone having a new resolution my stand is always that one should actually take on what they want to do and start off immediately and not wait for something called a new resolution. Imagine wasting a whole one week waiting for new year before you invest into bitcoin. My take is start today and invest into bitcoin if you have the funds and the means to do that because tomorrow or next year actually might be too late,

If you’re yet to actually start preparing you can start by holding saving some emergency funds now while investing to bitcoin gradually using DCA with little amount of money you have, once the emergency funds is at an amount which is consider reasonable then I will say it is best to then start investing aggressively. Do not wait for new. Make resolution that starts from today

Why do you not know that people start their resolution but they don’t finish it, stop smoking, drinking, shred fat but they do not complete why do you want them to add bitcoin to a list people think the can achieve but can’t.
New year is a day like tomorrow or like 25th, 30th why can’t you start your resolution at that time.
Don’t wait for the new year to include bitcoin in a resolution, buy today 23rd.

Why not, for anyone that have gained some amount of knowledge and technical analysis skills in Bitcoin, having included Bitcoin in their new year resolution is perfect as this will help them to do two things which are to gain passive profit in the long term from their Bitcoin investment and also to have a financial decipline and money management since going all in on Bitcoin put them at hedge.

How many people do you know in real life who followed their resolutions? Most of them will start with going to gym and they hardly last a week. So please don't. :P

Instead, add into your yearly goals, set a target that you want to have at the end of the year and try to accumulate that bitcoin in small or big chunks as your convenience which makes more sense to me.

It is good to include that to anybody's new year resolutions. But to say about that, it should be about investing because others might mislead to that thinking of removing it together with their bad attitude. Kidding aside, it's a good one if someone starts investing as early as they can be. Whether it's within the end of this year or by the start of 2026. They're all free to do what they think is necessary and however they want it to be as they make more money each year that passes by. The time is moving and so as the cycle continues which they'll be able to buy it cheaper.

I haven't thought of including Bitcoin to my new year resolution, you know why? I am quite okay with the way I have being investing in Bitcoin  for long with the spare cash I have. No FOMO attached to it than to invest with the amount I feel like at any time of the day, week or month

the idea of a new year resolution for btc feels a bit like retail hype to me, usually the people making those resolutions are the first ones to panic sell when we get a 20 percent correction in february, if you have been investing for a long time you know that bitcoin does not care about the new year or your personal goals, it is better to just have a solid dca plan that runs in the background while you live your life, right

There's no idea that can come with the consideration of including Bitcoin as part of the portfolio that is a wrong one, there's nothing as best of securing the future for our own self and benefits, because with bitcoin, there's more confidence for a better future with what we have invested, as the value increases over time, whole inflation keep away from it, we ha e control over our assets can't be manipulated for any reason.

It’s good if you’re planning to accumulate, bad if you’re planning to spend.

For me, the challenge next year, and probably my New Year’s resolution too, is to accumulate 1 whole Bitcoin. I plan to slowly grind it out from whatever earning opportunities I get, without touching my main money. It’s a tough challenge, but I’ve done it before, so I’m hoping I can pull it off again.

I just need to be more disciplined. I’ll still allocate a small portion for gambling though, you can’t really remove that entertainment completely or life would just be boring.

Definitely a good idea. Setting a simple, achievable resolution like "DCA $50 every week" or "move my stack to a hardware wallet" is a solid move. Just make the goal specific, not just "buy Bitcoin." Consistency beats big, scary pledges.

For me, since I was bearish started last quarter of this year. What I am hoping is to start the year 2026 as bullish or even not bullish, my plan is to start accumulating cheap Bitcoins especially right now we are still below $90,000 which it could be a good opportunity to buy more cheap Bitcoins.
