Title: Put your BitCoin address in your business email signature Post by: Mahkul on April 08, 2011, 12:46:34 PM This morning I have configured my own and all my employees' email message templates to put my company Bitcoin address in the signature. That feels so good. :) Hopefully some of our customers will ask what this is. I would suggest whoever can to do the same, you never know.

Don't forget to print your Bitcoin address on your company's business cards too. Title: Re: Put your BitCoin address in your business email signature Post by: PLATO on April 08, 2011, 01:40:06 PM or better, a shortlink to a page where they can pay you

His email his 35 character long :-) Title: Re: Put your BitCoin address in your business email signature Post by: FreeMoney on April 09, 2011, 04:26:43 AM I appreciate the bitcoin enthusiasm, but isn't it a little odd to essentially give people instructions on how to tip you anonymously on every business email? I would think something like "Now accepting Bitcoin" would be fine.

Transaction anonymity is a bit of a myth. You have to go to very specific lengths to remain anonymous, much like anonymous browsing of the web, etc. Therefore I don't agree that giving out your bitcoin address is akin to asking people to tip anonymously. I don't even understand your question. In normal circumstances I move 34 chars around by copying+pasting. But you can't do that off a printed business card.
