I would give it a week before I trust there actually IS 2TH of new capacity that has been brought online.

3 day average can be somewhat volatile.  A move like that is somewhat rare but that is how normal distributions work.  Lucky streaks lasting 3 or 4 days are not so improbable as to consider them impossible.

Network block solving rates for past 3 days was about 10% faster than normal.   Like I said lets look at it again in a week before we assume it means a significant change in network capacity.
