Title: Gridseed GC3355 - how to find out current temperature?
Post by: mercury1981 on April 06, 2014, 04:51:51 PM
Hi!

I am using a Gridseed GC3355 to mine LTC under Linux - I am using bfgminer and sometimes cpuminer.

My question is: Is there a way to find out the current temperature of the GC3355?

I am asking as I think about removing the (very loud) fan as I am using it only for LTC and not BTC and I read that for LTC mining the hardware does not get very hot?

I'd be interested in this too. I suspect we need some software utility?

I dont think theres a tempature sensor in the chip so its not possible.

sandor11 should be able to verify.
