Title: New CrytoCoin Fatique Syndrome.
Post by: 42coin fever on April 06, 2014, 11:14:31 PM
NCFS in short.

Why not established a registry to regulate all newly launch coin:

~A photo of the Dev himself or Copy of national (or regional of a nation business registry ) registered business license or permit.
~An equivalent of US$10K cash or equivalent Bitcoins deposited in 3 different exchanges or legal trust companies as secure segregated fund to protect investors.
~Absolutely no Premine and All the necessary marketing and expenses have to raise through taxing/fee/donations and all income transactions have to be transparent publish by monthly basis.

this is the stupidest list I ever heard.

- Let's show everybody where the Dev lives and his real name.
- Lets bankrupt him before he launches a coin
- don't promote shit until AFTER it magically become successful... you know....waiting for donations you can't sell because your too broke to have it on exchange because of rule #2

I have a better idea.... lets invite the Govt in so they can regulate it like fiat. Lets also have govt approval for all new coins and should pass through "strict" quality control like the FDA  ::)

Cryptos are an unregulated (aka free) market. Regulating it because of a couple of clueless noobs burned themselves or failed to get rich quick would be the worst idea. BTW who would be the "regulatory board"? BCX? Muddafudda & Co? Some of the noobs mentioned above? You? (At the current rate I'd vote for BCX :) ).

Here's an alternative idea. Try to regulate yourself. E.g. don't buy into obvious scams, leave alone the clone coins (where you cant see any innovations or good ideas) and the latest and greatest Chinese "CPU" coins, watch for the well known red flags in the announcements... and go for the more established stuff.
