How very nice. A bunch of 19th century chuckleheads trying to bring back a glorious past that never actually existed is exactly what we don't need. It's really a shame we opted for the slow-and-natural approach of having these white devils gradually destroy themselves when we really should have been sterilizing them two generations ago  ;)

This is like saying that Bitcoin is a bunch of gold bugs trying to bring back something that never worked in the first place.

It really isn't.  There is absolutely no comparison in believing in a free currency and believing that racial interbreeding is evil.

I call bullshit on that one. Bitcoin is 100x better than gold...

RP has a FEW really good ideas. The only problem is that the ones that aren't good smell like pure shit.

Hence the comparison.

Ron Paul does not want to take us "back" to something in the 19th century, he wants to take us FORWARD to something BETTER based on the principles which were usurped.

Ron Paul does not want to take us "back" to the gold standard. He wants to take us FORWARD to competing currencies which would include Bitcoin and all sorts of currencies that all compete to fill their own niches.

We dont need government telling us what holds value. We can figure that out for ourselves, and we have for thousands of years. When it comes down to it, money is nothing but a barter item anyway. It just weighs less.

Sometimes, there is such a thing as a circle...
