with the name cheaper in bitcoins i as a customer expect to see one thing -- goods available for less than if i were to be paying with dollars. that's a high hurdle, i understand. there should be other angles though. spendbitcoins sells amazon and godaddy gift certificates for example. nobody is selling gift certificates for the remaining 98% of merchants who offer them. as far as physical items, consider stuff that is cheap to ship. zimbabwe 100T dollars for example, can be shipped out for $0.45 postage plus $0.10 for the envelope. remember your market. geeks. libertarians. struggling miners. Anything that is truly cheaper in BTC is of interest. Also direct purchases. For example crafts from abroad.

If bitcoin becomes what we all wish it will sometime in the future (far future?) then 21M coins will be nothing in such a large economy. At that time the value will have to go way up and we will not buy something like a motorcycle with a WHOLE bitcoin but maybe with something like 2000 satoshis for example...
