I myself would recommend Bitstamp. It's serious, easy to use and has so far never been hacked. Yeah they have some delays depending on your buy/sell limits but it works for me and so far they seem pretty reputable.

It's new so still needs some volume of people selling. Plenty of people buying though. LOL

If you are non-USA maybe use bitstamp (I personally would not use fiat deposits/withdrawals with btc-e heard too many bad stories).
