Title: Bitcoin Research: Poll
Post by: archer-j on April 10, 2014, 02:40:21 AM
Dear all Members,

Greeting.

I am a MBA student and was doing research about the Bitcoin. So, I would like the community members to please fill a short questionnaire. That would be very helpful for my research. The link for this is: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1VIMi0Xqy92oqQFnftd9Au4S6RgyWjQv90qy6JG5_J6s/viewform (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1VIMi0Xqy92oqQFnftd9Au4S6RgyWjQv90qy6JG5_J6s/viewform)

Thank You
archer-j

Silly quiz with poorly thought out questions and insufficient options for answers.

Have fun.  Good luck.

Could you point out the points how the questionnaire could be improved?

Why would anyone want to put their full name in the Google Docs database?

Bitcoin is not deflationary.

You have to be careful with blanket statements and definitions. Its supply is inflationary (until it stops being mineable, obviously) but it's price is (generally) deflationary (on average its price is going up). It's comparable to gold in some ways, e.g. very slightly inflationary supply, as its being mined, but generally considered to be a deflationary monetary system. Also, it depends on what time-scale you're looking at.
