It could have some value for Indian people though , but I won't know about it since I am french. Finally to answer your question I don't know how I got Sr. membership but I don't think I did anything special to get it (actually i never care about it either since it doesn't give you any special power / advantages or anything ) but maybe it's calculated with the number of posts you made and maybe the date you first registered ?
