Don't get me wrong, KnCMiner did have good reputation in the past. At this current promotion price, return on these G-Blades are quite good. We don't know when titan will be released, and even if it was released in Q3 as planned, I believe Gridseed will respond rapidly. KnC pushed Gridseed for a promotion. that is how i see it. But I feel bad for KnC, with the price they are selling, it means slower for them to get their investment back . investing in Asic development could cost 2-5m USD I think the promotion means 170 days return to mine LTC now. But let's hope the BTC price is going to go back up again. Another thing is you can volmod these things. I read something on http://cryptomining-blog.com/1909-pushing-the-gridseed-5-chip-asics-to-the-maximum-with-a-voltmod/ thought you want to know this. i am sure the guys at cryptomining will release new voltmod once it is with them. in all, if i can get my investment back in 3 - 4 month, i consider it good investment. so i will go ahead and get this one. I got two units and the other boards are working fin. how soon can I get a replacement board? this is totally disappointing..... These things are small and fast! I love mine - I just wish one board hadn't smoked right off the bat - it's reporting that it's hashing but it won;t accept any shares. hopefully these guys can send me a replacement board soon - I'm losing $40/day but not having that board working. There's not really much heat coming from the chips, the power supply part at the open end of Blade heats more.
