I'm getting a bit bored of countless bad news stories regarding Bitcoin that are mostly pointless or just stating the obvious.

Has anyone got any good news ?

Yeah, but it helps getting the price down so I can buy more. Great stuff if you ask me!

PayPal could become a real competitor to CoinBase, tank. Amazon could accept BTC directly, no automatic fiat conversion third-parties, tank.

No news is good news. Tank, tank, tank. This is Bitcoin.

I don't think the news could get much worse. My guess is we're nearing the tail end of the bad news phase, and we'll start seeing more positive news surrounding bitcoin. The media is no different than the traders: they swing from bullish to bearish and back to bullish, etc.

The worst news is China gov maybe will  ban the cash transfer between exchange from Apr.15

I wouldn't be suprised if they create the own exchange and ban it on non gov owned ones, always HODL

I don't care whether the news is good or bad. The most important aspect is that Bitcoin and the other crypto-currencies are getting some good amount of publicity, and that too for free.  ;D

I suppose, I'm not a big fan of conspiracy theories or anything but it just seems like something weird is happening the volume of bad stories is crazy all saying the same pointless obvious things with very similar comments at the bottom.

I'm not tired of hearing bad news, I'm certainly tired of hearing made up bullshit about Bitcoin, it's like if someone spreads fake rumours about you, at first you get bothered or upset about it and as the pricks who say that stuff behind your back carry on and on it just gets tiresome and annoying.

Somehow I get the feeling we'll be seeing mainstream news journalists claim that Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme, tulips, a bubble and is going to crash to $0.00 for years, they'll be like the old geezers who don't understand how to use email or the internet, in fact, I'm fairly sure the people attacking Bitcoin are the exact same people.

Also, Bitcoin is illegal in China now.

I also heard that it was a massive bubble and ponzi scheme and that stupid investors lost millions of dollars when it dropped in value by 99.9% recently.

There's actually a lot more good news than bad news. It's just that the MSM hops on bad news, hypes the b'jeez out of it, and people panic sell.

It's really hard to predict. If you have money and believe into bitcoin, just buy few of them or wahtever buget you have for it and wait... and see what you'll have after 2-3 months.

The good news is, they are out of bad news so its time to buy..

There is plenty of good news in bitcoin, you just have to look a little harder for it. As with all things, the bad events seem to get the majority of the headlines.

The emergence of new scams is slowing.

Good or bad news. Is good news for bitcoin to spread awareness at this point.

Bitcoin has awareness.  Even my Dad had heard about it. Bitcoin now needs to get people interested in Bitcoin, and not just aware of it.

In a certain sense, all news are publicity, therefore can be considerer as good.
However, some of them, even if attract attention from people that don't use bitcoin, affect negatively the price.

If BTC had a mascot for 2014 so far it would be the Bad News Bear.  Frankly, I don't remember when the last time there was actually good solid news.

I think a major factor though is that bad news stays fresher in the mind than good news. That is just human nature...

Blood sells, so bad news have always some press.
I remember Nasa whining: in the sixties, every thing we did was news, now we only have some press attention when things go wrong.

Not in the world of Cryptos.  If there is no news, then the market stays really flat with little or no volatility. It usually also starts to slowly increase in prices too. With bad news, it is usually followed by a sharp selloff that take sometimes weeks to recover from.

This is just a natural reaction of your organism to the overhyped prices of December 2013

There are some good news, some bad news.

Right events in China are messing everyone up.

Buuut there are also new investors and big players interested into bitcoin. Even banks are starting to consider bitcoin as transaction technology (good that it is decentralized so they won't be able to hold it in any way).

Future looks ok, people just need to calm down a bit.

It is not important what happened in lest month, it is important what happened in lest year.

yes i would like to hear more positive news, but i think Bitcoins time will come. For now NEW is challenged by OLD, this test Bitcoin needs to go through.
