Launch Date : TBA This is the official announcement for Global Denomination, A scrypt-based mining proof-of-work global crypto-currency. We are based on Litecoin but with several improvements that we wanted to implement such as faster transactions. We also wanted our crypto-currency to have a We have a target block time of 1 minute, a starting block reward of 40 GDN, rewards mature after 5 Blocks, Rewards halve after 700k Blocks (Over 1 Year). A total of 56 million GDN to be mined. We have invested a lot of time, money and resources in this project as we believe that a fair launch of a new crypto-currency is needed in the crypto-currency world for all the newcomers and for existing users of Litecoin and other altcoins who want to move on. Bitcoin and Litecoin paved the way for crypto-currencies but they have encountered many teething problems such as claims of Pre-mining, Illegal Goods and the ban/s in China causing the value to drop dramatically each time effecting the global community. We feel that a new crypto-currency is needed as people stop mining / using Bitcoin and Litecoin for the above reasons (Such as ourselves). To mine for a new crypto-currency with a fair launch and that has no bad press and is run for the good of the community not just profit. Our dev team is entirely devoted to working towards the success of this crypto-currency, we will not be working on multiple currencies like some other developers. This is a faster version of Litecoin with no pre-mine, it is also scheduled to create 56,000,000 so there will be less available than Litecoin. We have also announced the launch a week in advance to give all miners the chance to hear about Global Denomination and start off equal on launch day. Currently we are running the same as Litecoin - Scrypt Due to various comments from miners requesting X11, we would like to ask our future miners what they would prefer before launch ?
