Title: Vertcoin CPU miner for Linux X64 with static linked libraries?
Post by: usao on April 11, 2014, 04:51:53 PM
Im looking for a Vertcoin CPU miner for Linux X64 with statically linked libraries.
Ive been trying for the past few days to compile from source, but running into all kinds of issues with libraries, versions, links etc.
Ive hit issues with curl libraries and such and have not been able to get a successfull build.
Im pretty frustrated with the whole process and was hoping someone out there may have solved it by building a pre-compiled statically linked X64 Linux binary which I can use without having to deal with all the RPM's, packages and RHEL subscription issues associated with trying to compile myself.

Also, another question. The vertcoin cpu miner, will that run any Scrypt-N coin or only vertcoin?
Thanks

You're answering to a 3-year old question from the time when Vertcoin was using Scrypt-N algo. Not only it's Lyra2RE(v2) now, mining it on CPU is obviously pointless.
