Title: Raspberry pi keyboard question.. Post by: favelle75 on April 11, 2014, 08:50:24 PM Anyone ever have a problem typing in the raspberry pi? Mine is almost impossible to type on because keys seem to get "stuck" for lack of a better term. I'll push a key and it'll just copy it a thousand times in the blink of an eye. And yes, i tried multiple keyboards.

And yes, i tried multiple keyboards. Your power supply is inadequate. Either your keyboards are wireless and require >500ma from a 5V 1A power supply, or you are using wired keyboards (negligible power consumption for the most part, ~100ma) but the power supply barely meets requirements, i.e. 5V .7A, OR you are running a power hungry peripheral on the other USB port: wifi dongle, hard drive, etc. *I am assuming you have a model B board. Try running your USB devices on a powered hub, and/or buying a better micro usb power supply. Best of luck Title: Re: Raspberry pi keyboard question.. The keyboard was running off the USB hub I had my miners plugged into. Once I connected the keyboard directly, it worked right away! Thanks. :) Title: Re: Raspberry pi keyboard question..
