Reading these posts about people with compromised accounts, and proving they own them to begin with seems problematic, and could be properly solved with a good Two-Factor-Authentication system. I plan to add it to both the login and password recovery (this will be configurable per user) and plan to support Google Authenticator and signed PGP messages.
