Title: moneyart.info - new paper wallet site
Post by: cryptix on April 12, 2014, 01:43:28 PM
Hello,

I finished my website 'moneyart.info'.  :)

It is possible to print out paper wallets for Bitcoin and Namecoin on this site.

It was a lot of work, but I think the designs are quite ok. Take a look at 'moneyart.info'. Hope you like it.

Best regards,
cryptix

So that site is generating private keys for new paper wallets? Is it possible to download and use it offline?

Well ... maybe when I will understand better how does it work I will say it is necessary or not :)

1. I chose BTC
2. Click on print
3. I have a wallet with Public key and QR
4. Where is private key? I do not see it on a printout.
5. Without a private key how I will withdraw BTC from that wallet?

Of course. When you click on the tab 'design', the html file with the key generation will be downloaded. Then you can go offline if you want to, but I think it is not necessary.

Please correct me, if I am wrong.

generate paper wallet public key and private key with an internet-available PC is very very dangerous  8)

The idea is following: You first print the frontside with the public key, then you flip the outprint and put it back into the printer and then print the backsite with the private key. There is a sophisticated folding method for this wallet. The foldingsteps are described on the backsite.

I am very sorry, that you don't like the design, CoinBand.  :(  What exactly can be improved?

I think it is secure msc_de, because the html with the outprint is fully useabel after going offline. It is a pity, that criminal hackers are attacking Bitcoin so much. I agree, that printing the wallet during being online is a bit risky. I also think that if one wants to be totally secure he should delete the browser chronik after printing and maybe other data storages, e.g. of the printer. But I am not an expert in this area. Maybe it is helpful if you could share a bit of your knowledge about security, msc_de. :)

It is not bad but like I say it has some problems with coding perhaps and it might looks suspicious for some users.
I believe everything is OK and you are reliable but you must upgrade this site to make more attention :)
