Title: live data from other exchanges
Post by: bzzard on January 07, 2012, 01:23:04 PM
CampBX, Tradehill, Intersango and all other bitcoin exchanges - now is your chance to get some people on your exchange!

Provide live data public API if you are sure you can handle 1000 connections now and more in near future.

Or provide private API so someone can rebroadcast this.

It's that simple!

Intersango has always provided a public API.

Streaming market data is available at intersango.com 1337

Your poll question seems to be using broken English and I can't quite understand what you're asking...

Really sorry, are you trying to ask:

Should live data be a reason to use the exchange?

"Do live data from exchange can be the reason to move my funds to them? "
I think you mean

"would you be more likely to do business with an exchange that provided a usable public live API?"

I like it. Sorry for the mess :(

Anyway - after this small provocation MtGox socket was closed for couple hours, then it came back and ...just started working without problems
...I'm not saying it's because of this poll, just an observation ;)

If you connect to the stream the format is obvious.

the only thing to keep in mind is that a full orderbook update can occur at any time.
