I asked Avast: Quote We will not consider Bitcoin as one of payment options. I am sorry we are unable to meet your needs in this matter. The only company that accepts Bitcoin seems to be Malewarebytes. I thought security companies would be more excited about something brilliant as Bitcoin. Sure there is a lot of Bitcoin maleware, but there is also credit card stealing, spam sending and banking maleware. Does that make them hate email, credit cards and banking? No. Is it just my impression or do they really have a negative opinion of Bitcoin. Title: Re: Antivirus software companies + Bitcoin = Not going to happen?
