Title: 1 Video Card dropped 90% in kHz - Time to RMA?
Post by: dogehelp on April 16, 2014, 08:19:26 PM
Hi all,

I have a 4 card mining rig with XFX 7950s mining Doges. During the day I run them at I=15 to keep the noise level down. Normally they average about 400 khz, but today one of the cards is sitting at 50khz while the others are at the normal 400. Does this pretty much mean the card is broken and I should RMA it? Any ideas of what could have caused it? Could the card have gotten half damaged by an electrical short yet still continue to work at a reduced rate?

Thanks in advance.

try rebooting the rig, and restarting sgminer.
