Title: altcoin total hashrate increase Post by: wijnand1 on April 17, 2014, 09:53:44 AM recently i read that the total hashrate of the altcoins is about 650.000MH. With the new asics coming out how will this increase:
Knc miner 2000 x 300mhs 2000 x 150mhs mining asic technology ~4000 x 250mhs ~4000 x 125mhs Alpha technology ?? x 100mhs Others ~500.000mhs this would atleast be a total of 3.000.000mhs that will be added to the network this year. Will this mean that every gpu miner will move to n-scrypt or x11? Besides, most 'green' PoS coins are currently shouting multipool left, right and center, so the carbon footprint argument doesn't work right now.
