Title: [WTB] [UK] Molex to 12v cables for USB hubs Post by: hotwired007 on April 17, 2014, 08:56:48 PM I'm after a couple of cables for my USB hubs to replace the power bricks (dont want to cut them off incase i decide to sell the hubs) and free up power connections.

Hi i use these http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/1-to-5-way-power-splitter-n25kg never had a problem with them Title: Re: [WTB] [UK] Molex to 12v cables for USB hubs Post by: hotwired007 on April 23, 2014, 10:24:02 AM thanks for the info - i have 2 cables already with a single molex to 2.1mm barrel - the PSU blew on one last night so ended up redoing the cable - i've found one of those adapters on ebay for £1 delivered so i'm going to try it with the hubs fingers crossed it can handle the power consumption... i have 4 10 port hubs with 23 Block Erupters one Antminer U1 and 3 Chili's conected plus i'm looing at buying a few more USB miners - Antminer U1s or U2s (just to use up the space) - cooling isnt an issue as i'm building a custom 'cooling tower/fan heater' with 5x 120mm fans.
