        Difficulty Coin - DIFF
        Difficulty Coin is the first CryptoCoin using the the unique only difficulty block reward, based on Darkcoin and HiroCoin. - thanks to their respective creators.

        X11 is created by Evan Duffield and uses the following for complex hashing, blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd and echo. There is GPU mining software available for X11 which makes it a suitable hashing solution. CPU only coins quickly become run by botnets and virtual machines with large numbers of vCPUs. GPU mining protects against this sort of unfair mining. Because of the complexity in X11 it is unlikely that we would see an ASIC for it any time soon, keeping coins that choose X11 to be mined on common and affordable hardware, therefore decentralising the hash power as originally intended by Satoshi.

        DGW is currently the best difficulty adjustment algorithm available. It fixes the KGW timewarp exploit and allows a very accurate difficulty adjustment. X11 multipools will soon be a reality and hashrate manipulation will be easily prevented with DGW. Once again, there's simply no alternative if you want the best.

          This wouldn't work. Why ? What is maximum number of coin ? The more people mining it, the cheaper the coin because more coins are produced.

          it's the same man, in both case the reward is the same no matter the difficulty

          here more difficulty mean more reward, which  is equal to a costant reward per hash

          difficultycoin: let's say the difficulty is 1 with 10 miners you get 1/10(reward/miners), if the difficulty i 13 you get 13/130(reward/miners)

          dynamiccoin: the reward is costant

          in the end you will be rewarded in the same way...

          so the price chart will look like decending drop if the coin get popular ? I bet no whales dare to pump this coin because they will need more and more btc with increasing supply as the coin get popular.

              Looks like your wallet.dat is corrupted. Did you move the file to a wallet compiled with a different version of BDB?

              Make a backup and start with the "-salvagewallet" option. If that doesn't help, pywallet (https://github.com/jackjack-jj/pywallet) can fix most problems.

              I didn't move anything.  Had wallet open notice many blocks on p2pool solved but not any in my wallet.

              -salvagewallet gives new address so no good for coin from p2pool not yet received.

              Wallet just stopped working and need end task to stop.  Fortunate I run on unimportant computer.  

              Coin too many problem for no reward.

              Our node is working, but the wallet is rejecting the connections. Looks like a bug in the dos protection of the wallet.

              First you should wait for dev to release new wallets with updated checkpoints. If you mine on wrong chain, then all your coins will be lost.

              I made a quick temporary fix and tested it on 32bit linux and it is working. Not tested on windows and mac wallets, but should work.

              yes, but only on windows os... on mac everything fine (of course same on linux)
