Title: Selling Comm?
Post by: samysamy1 on April 19, 2014, 12:34:51 AM
This poll is only intended for stakeholders with at least 100K coins.
Please do not vote if you hold less coins.

I'm not talking here about day trading / selling your full or partial stake and buying it again.

I created this poll to find out how strong or weak this community is. Hopefully it will help stakeholders to decide what to do with their stake in the near future (sell or hold).

good poll honestly

transparency, and a dev that's not afraid of critisicm

I will not sell coins within year or when the community falls apart

When the lost coins issue hasn't been fixed

I'm assuming you mean when the issue HAS been fixed?

Until then I don't have much faith in this coin. Too many blockchain issues.

If the dev require high level of commitment, the community should require high level commitment in development too, so:

-If there is no further development plans
-The lost wallet issue is not fixed

Hi Samysamy1,

First thank you for your dedicated work to this Community Coin. I voted 'when there is no further development' .

Price is maybe the issue for some.

I would guess that 1c per coin would be a tempting offer for some people to sell part of their stake. That values COMM at Total of $8mil.(20x current level)

The next price point could be 50c  (about the market cap of Litecoin, and 1000x current price)

lets be realistic there  ;D (sure we never know... )

I would expect for the coin same level as BC (higher is highly speculative... and at the moment BC can't even go higher) that should give a lower limit at when to sell.
(however I hope the 14% expecting to sell at mintpal introduction will bring down the price, so more can be bought at no cost...)

BC has a really strong active Dev team, with excellent ideas. You have to go and see for yourself if you want to understand how BC is in a different league.

COMM has a long way to catch up with that, but it can be done with the right Community action, and it is early days.

Lol, no I'm keeping it long term hoping that it will reach at least $1 some day. Up until now I haven't sold anything, but I intend to trade with my stake only when it hits Mintpal.

yes but you can't sell 1 or 2 Millions at peak value (that's what happened...)
I used today value 1Millions would give 480btc x300euros = 144000euros (that's mostly 7years at a small 20k/years salary)
(free of taxes ? )

still plenty of money for just a free coin, moreover who is the stupid that sells 480 btc at the current price lmao, i would wait until 1000 euro at least

I just voted for after 1 to 2 years which is the most popular option. Community Coin has a long term future like bitcoin. Look at how stupid early bitcoin dumpers must feel.

if you want a general personal advice, never ever sell your all coins, no matter the coin, always keep an amount... who knows

This is a good advice, it's sometimes difficult to keep focused on a long term investment but it's often worth it in the end.

There are little dumps every now and then but COMM is steadily rising when you look at the broad picture.Mintpal is probably watching the amount of volume on poliniex and thinking of listing COMM before it hits the top of the voting page.
