lol because they can't. They can only regulate the businesses they (single-points of failure) can impose regulations on.

Yep, that's basically it, like with the constant reports about the Federal Reserve tapering on Quantitative Easing what's really happening is there's nothing they can do and they're trying to maintain their authority with a bluff.

They probably don't want to regulate it because it is too much work and paperwork for their lazy a$$es
