What is NAS?

It's a fork of NXT's source code, with new features to be added and all NXT features to be added too.

Specifications:

Nas is the 100% Proof-of-Stake (PoS) currency.  
NasCoins are earned solely by charging transaction fees.  
Unlike other currencies with PoS mining, Nas's PoS mining does not cause monetary inflation.  
The total amount of Nas in circulation is 10 billion.  
Nas is resistant to +90% attacks via its transparent forging algorithm.

How does the refund work?

Requirements: At least 10 posts..

Step 1: Download the client: http://nascoin.org/ ("Download" Button)
Step 2: Follow the installation instructions

               Installation Instructions

               How to Install Nast Client
               1 - Download and Install Java      http://www.java.com
               2 - Unzip 'nas_client.zip'  
               3 - Go to your Nxt Directory  (c:\nas)
               4 - Start NAS with doubleclicking run.bat

               Open Nas Client
               - Open your browser and go to  http://localhost:7876 (modern client)

Step 3: Once you have opend the browser interface, you will have to choose a passphrase. This passphrase should be >30 random charakters, otherwise you might be hacked!
Step 3b: Safe you password and double check if the accountnumber stays the same if you logout and login again!
Step 4: Login using you password.
Step 5: In the top left corner you will find a NAS address like this: 123443234123124455
Step 6: Send a private message with the following content to NAS_REFUND (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=317746)

Step 8: If you post the address of NXT-e.com or dgex.com I WILL NOT SEND ANY COINS TO YOU. YOU NEED A OWN WALLET!
Step 9: You will receive your NAS within 24 hours most likely (depends on the number of transactions I have to do).
Step 10: STOP POSTING YOUR ADDRESSES IN THIS THREAD!!! YOU NEED TO SEND THEM PER PRIVATE MESSAGE TO THE ACCOUNT: NAS_GIVEAWAY !!!!!

How much NAS will I receive?

This depends on your status and on the facts of the loss you claim. The better the proof of you claims, the more likely you will receive a refund :)

Bought an overpriced mining software for prime number coin, would it work to get free NAS ?
(Am I joking ? well depends of your answer...  ;D but that will certainly interests other people in the same case who can
get any return over their investment )

You need to run the run.bat file before accessing the site :)

 I had  PM   NAS_REFUND  and i have tell him  i got scammed in EDGCOIN, But he  did not give me any NAS coin. It is a pity. :-[

Does it have to be a scam, or will you give out coins to people who lost coins simply because the coin was mismanaged and tanked?

For example I lost a lot of money with the GPUCoin IPO because the owner is incompetent or just did no care and let the coin die.

Just send a PM, and I will evaluate it!

It is sick how many IPO scams there were :(

Now there are a lot of people were in IPO stage, what they have not been.
We should try to avoid this kind of tragedy >:(

If you have a ton of NAS to give out and not enough takers, offer the same deal to Cryptorush/Coinex people... although I expect that may require an awful lot of free coin to make up for the pain.

I can certainly not remove the pain, as I have limited funds, but I can try to help lessen the pain :)

You can send a message with some proof to NAS_REFUND and I can send you some coins even if you didn't lost some in IPO!
