You should have also heard of Circle. The news said that Circle had attracted more than $20M USD funding. Comparatively, Coinbase took in much less. Still in the millions but not in the order of $20M. Now, why is Circle attracting so much money when it is not clear publicly what services they are providing? I wouldn't be too concerned about them, it's not hard to pretend you have funding and if they aren't giving you a clear outline of what their business does you should stay away. I wouldn't be too concerned about them, it's not hard to pretend you have funding and if they aren't giving you a clear outline of what their business does you should stay away. Take a look at their blog. There is more info there. Apparently, their business is similar to credit card companies. I do not know the details but they mentioned things like lowering the transaction cost for merchants to 0. And take a look at their board of directors - all the big names! Watch out for BTC price when they announce their services! |
