Anyone seen this before?  It just passed the fundraising goal today.

This looks like it will blow away every other smart watch planned.  Can't find any details on the battery though - sure hope I don't have to charge it daily.

Of course, you have to get over the size, but that is not an issue for me.  I would proudly wear it as geek jewellery.  :)

Another crowd funding scam

Why?  What they are proposing is very doable with today's technology.

I dont think it would be practical, looks very uncomfortable. and dorky.

I like the flexible Samsung watches that will be coming out! Thin, flat,  very stylish. Even the goggle watch is better them ops.

Let's wait and see what will happen with those projects. Idea seems good. Design also is not that bad, they need recognition of people to bite share of the market and if that happen prepare for revolution in mobile devices market :)

That thing looks horrible. It's way too big. I currently have a SmartQ Z Smartwatch, which is pretty good (concidering the price). It has a fluent menu and a pretty decent battery life. Getting the Samsung Gear Fit next month (works better with my Galaxy S5).

The problem is that they all look ugly. Even the futuristic, bendy etc ones. Its just not stylish and something I think looks stupid on your wrist.

I hardly connect mine to the internet. It has quite a few advantages over a normal watch like being able to change the watchfaces, functional apps (pedometer, heart rate monitor) etc.

Having a smart watch is a cool idea, but I have to tolerate with charging my phone everyday already, I do not want to worry about charging my watch too.

Access the full Google Play store? Damn, it's just a matter of time before kids go to school and play on their watches during break, playing the newest Call of Duty 26 DLC...

So true. And I bet that this watches are eating charge faster than lightning.

Yeah and don't forget the loss of privacy. What's next? Implants?

It's all about price and battery life, as it doesn't bring anything new to the table and every single incoming and current smartwatchs has those functionalities unless I missed something feel free to correct me  ;D
are there any estimate on those two parameters?
Also I though Ti stoped making it Omap SoC for smartphones and watchs

You shouldn't really trust these companies as they often want to scam you of your funds. The best rated smarwatch of 2014 is the Pebble Smart watch. I personally enjoy the  martain smart watch and the connecteddevice cookoo smartwatch.

Definitely not a sports watch. That thing would die in water, and if you fall down, it's a strike.

People will pay huge premium on "fashion" watch.

Does that watch have a television tuner built in. Nice screen for films but crap design for smartwatch more like smarts ink.

Guess that's right, but I'm %100 sure the company will make that watch flimsy and breakable on purpose. I don't expect it to be heavy-duty to titanium wreckage, but at least not as 'breakable' as the Android that constantly slips out of my pocket, or the glass IPhone some of my friends have.

I'm loving the look of it. I'd buy one if I had the cash on hand.

There are plenty of pictures on the website of it being worn. Myself, I think it needs to be even bigger. I prefer a proper keyboard on my wristlojackimator.

Good question. It looks sort of bulky, and even if you try to hide it, I'm pretty sure somebodies going to try and steal it.
