Post by: tk808 on April 22, 2014, 03:34:30 AM
Most of the Coins Source team knows how it feels to get scammed, most of us have lost BTC on some of the higher profile scams such as: visacoin, shares, verocoin, frictionless coin.

Coins Source is here to help recover the image for alternative coins in general. Check out our site www.CoinsSource.com

Stolen or Scams include all types: Coins, Exchanges, Websites anything pertaining to the loss of your digital currencies.

In order to get compensated SourceCoins for whatever you lost: BTC, NXT... etc you must tell us which coin you got scammed on and show us proof. Either your name linking to your transaction in a scam coin's page, your name associated on a scam site or etc..Some type of proof connecting you to a loss. Simply post below with screenshots, links or solid evidence linking you to a crime.
Simple as that.

For every .01btc you got scammed, you can get awarded .5 SourceCoin, we will compensate victims up to a 1BTC loss or 50 SourceCoins.

What ever amount was stolen or scammed, you will be awarded a minimum of 5 SourceCoins for simply telling us your story.

What is SourceCoin? Check out our official ANN that encompasses SRC and Coins Source LLC https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=572303

You can post it here, that'd be better.

If you want it to stay confidential then just PM me or Email: admin@coinssource.com

.149 btc with bit-mining.co

I have a screen shot of my deposits but I do not know how to upload it. Is there an e-mail address I can send it to? Their site is now gone but I save my history for proof in case there is ever a chance to recover any of it.

edit: Found the support e-mail address. Reading the thread before posting is a good thing. :)

The bad news is: No sorry. We initially thought about SRC being a share in Coins Source, but there are too many complications with payouts with our revenue.

The Good news:

We are currently developing a lot of features behind SourceCoin including a payment system for our Premium section. Essentially, it costs $30 per month (still tentative) and you basically will get a(n) professional assistant, full resources, market overviews and in-depth help from our team.

We've projected SourceCoin to be valued around $1USD, that is the starting flat-rate Coins Source will use. So 30 SRC for a premium source membership. 1USD valuation will put SourceCoin right around 1,000,000 market cap, give or take. Most of us know that the volatility of 100k or 10 million is not uncommon in the crypto space.

Also, we have plans to incorporate extra purchases that we develop in the future, a(n) online wallet (it will costs 1-5 SRC to secure your wallet), escrowing system to trade your alternative coins to any person and a lot of other exciting features we have in the works.

Our IPO is designed to funnel the profits back into the site and create a higher frequency and better quality of content, open for everyone free.

We are not funded by any big investors, companies or etc. This is a purely a crypto ground up company, a start-up, by the users for the users and the masses.

The best part is, SourceCoin will always be supported by our Company. As long as Coins Source lives, expect SourceCoin to progress far into the future, 1, 2, 5 years from now.. or wherever we end up.

Watching maidsafe's ipo for two days. I'm really disappointed. There is no doubt that decentralized internet is an awesome idea. But what dev have done made it disappointing. Manipulating market and changing rules at will, all of these things remind me of mtgox and labcoin scam. Anyway, I'm back for your altcoin database! ;D

Definitely, Coins Source is one of the very few to cover the controversy and skepticism behind MaidSafe.

On the other hand, the article covers what Maidsafe is, informing users such a protocal or platform has been created.

Because we are trying to distribute Shares from Coins Source and SourceCoins to investors, taking SourceCoins back SRC from investors for more shares defeats the intended purpose.

We may initiate a buy-back program for SRC in the future, right now we are trying to get funded so we can unleash some exciting features for SRC, and ultimately expose Coins Source to the world.

I've been scammed twice in the last 4 months:

- GetVisaCoin - 2 bitcoins - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=384097.0/
https://blockchain.info/tx/ef3e1746107f75bfeed585ac9ef9c300a62e8410c57dfe6a863706a6c3270bfd

-LevelCoin - 1 bitcoin - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=422309.0
https://blockchain.info/tx/4bcb20c537a38f934b8731dde3a9a05239514c1a8aff0e47f3e8fe8c0b87302a

Embarrassing but true! In my defence I did invest in the NXT IPO so I'm still ahead :) Escrow is essential in the crypto world!

Your offer to compensate scam victims is really cool, thank you!!

I was scammed in a Feathercoin trade when I was a newbie, right at the start of the altcoin explosion.

The same guy scammed a lot of other people, and when other people complained, the scammer accussed the victims of scamming him. I posted to backup the real 'victim'.

BlackHawk37 was the scammer.
xjd1987 was another victim

xjd1987  DO NOT SEND ANYTHING TO HIM, HE WILL SCAM YOU !!!

xjd1987  DO NOT SEND ANYTHING TO HIM, HE WILL SCAM YOU !!!
xjd1987  scammed me out too!  Took 1000 FC from me, dont touch him.. !
YOU ARE THE OTHER username of BlackHawk37

BlackHawk37 scammed me too - 2500 FC.

I've had nothing to do with xjd1987, but BlackHawk37 scammed me, so I believe xjd1987.

xjd1987, if you can hack his location and cause him some grief, like you say you can, that would be excellent!

Sorry, but LoL this is like going into a kindergarden and pop a baloon.... wuaaaaa wuaaaaaa qq

Why don't you just stop it and use the forum as it is intended. There are subforums for all kinds
of stuff.

A scammer tried to defame xjd1987, I knew this was untrue because the real scammer (BlackHawk37)  got me too, so I am responding in the defamatory post by the scammer.

lol, where should I post it? Should I let xjd1987 be defamed?

This issue has been solved, the CONF file was the incorrect name.

This promotion has now ended, SourceCoin is now available on Poloniex
