You will need to compete with gamers though, as gamers would absolutely pay more than that, seeing as these are gaming graphics cards and not merely number crunchers. If you want scrypt mining, just buy ASICs. You will save yourself a lot of money with electricity and supporting hardware.

I'd buy multiples of them at that price, even though I'd need a new power supply to support them all and run 3-4 card CF for grins. The low end on 280X cards is currently around $180 give or take, and that really is the low end.
