Title: Asiacoin to rival bitcoin Post by: FFrost on April 22, 2014, 11:52:49 AM Just looking at the commotion over this coin. Do you think this could rival bitcoin?
Title: Re: Asiacoin to rival bitcoin Post by: Tripjammer on April 22, 2014, 03:51:12 PM Nope but this coin is getting ready to be pumped and dumped!
Title: Re: Asiacoin to rival bitcoin Post by: Equate on April 22, 2014, 04:00:42 PM Just wait for some time , Asiacoin will not be even remembered . And comparing it with Bitcoin is the biggest joke.
Title: Re: Asiacoin to rival bitcoin Post by: Rawted on April 22, 2014, 04:03:39 PM Just like CNYCoin was going to be the exclusive coin used by all of the Chinese!
Get over it, no altcoin will ever topple Bitcoin. There's too much support behind it nowadays. If half of you 'get rich quick' altcoiners would pull your head out of your collective asses, you would realize there's much more money to be made by backing Bitcoin instead of detracting from it. Maybe one day you all will wake up and stop flooding the market with utter shit. Title: Re: Asiacoin to rival bitcoin Post by: Bansheroom on April 22, 2014, 04:33:12 PM Lol, what you see are just bagholders of bitcoin responding..... Its always the same story the first one want to stay at the top no matter what happens. Im no bagholder of BTC. Asiacoin cant make it just because it has nothing special. The relative short mining period and the unnecessary blockhalving (for a coin mined so short time) lead to very poor distribution. Expect some pump and dump if anything happens at all, i see no long term gains for Asia coin. A bit inaccurate :). First random block reward coin was Junkcoin. First PoW/PoS hybrid was Novacoin Edit: First PoW/PoS hybrid was Peercoin for SHA and Novacoin for script. I just got that from the BlackCoin website, since it says it "is the first PoW/PoS hybrid coin to fully reach the purely PoS stage" Title: Re: Asiacoin to rival bitcoin Post by: Snail2 on April 22, 2014, 07:58:14 PM LOL. I just got that from the BlackCoin website, since it says it "is the first PoW/PoS hybrid coin to fully reach the purely PoS stage" That could be true as the older PoW/PoS hybrids never switched to fully PoS mode. Actually Cloudcoin and ADT did but not intentionally :) Title: Re: Asiacoin to rival bitcoin Post by: Amph on April 22, 2014, 08:05:24 PM just another coin that ride the dick of the recent pumped one

Thats why he is mad. mad about what? all those coin look the same to me, pump and dump scheme just another coin that ride the dick of the recent pumped one Uh, so bitcoin don't get pumped ever ?? You say ... its just natural growth you say ? yes it was natural, because btc was the first you know people still compare altcoin to btc, so hilarious Title: Re: Asiacoin to rival bitcoin Post by: Deviant1 on April 22, 2014, 09:07:13 PM None of these copy and paste coins have any chance of ever reaching Bitcoin levels, and that includes Doge and Blackcoin.
If you want to speculate on what coins have a shot of even obtaining half of Bitcoin's marketshare, look to next generation coins that are bringing something more to the table other than just a new name. For example, eXocoin, Nxt, Counterparty, all of these have a much better shot of massive adoption and increased value than just another QT wallet with a different name and picture. Title: Re: Asiacoin to rival bitcoin Post by: Gambiman on April 25, 2014, 11:48:24 AM Depends, If China really bans bitcoin anytime (if...) then maybe we could see a bitcoin clone go up.

Title: Re: Asiacoin to rival bitcoin Post by: CryptoClub on April 28, 2014, 10:23:18 PM If the trend lines for BTC don't change very soon, BTC will not be the most safe. If anything, Darkcoin looks the most safe these days, and DRK always had about the best charts. BTC just keeps going down with lower and lower support levels. Everyone knows it, but they try and come up with special "exponential" charts that are based on things other than what people buy and sell Bitcoin for. Future potential sort of stuff, hope and dreams. Real charts look more like a sinking ship and people in denial.
Could Asiacoin Rival Bitcoin long term? Cheaper, faster, better, sure, why not? New people have no loyalty to Bitcoin. Some new people don't even like the Silk Road Rep. Gox, Foundation, on and on... If AC is still around a year from now with the interest at 2% and has massive adoption, what will Bitcoin be by then? Depends on if the rich people buy in soon and pump BTC and LTC up. Blackcoin seems more like a rival to me than Asiacoin, but along with BC, a couple others like AC/CINNI could end up like LTC. Crazy talk? Who knows... Guess we will see how it plays out long term. Title: Re: Asiacoin to rival bitcoin Post by: fireinwall on April 29, 2014, 01:56:05 PM Never think like this. Asiacoin is too young to beat other good coins like LTC/DOGE ...
