Tell us the details. Also, copy-paste the email that you received from Paypal (informing you of their decision to freeze the account) here. And how much money did you had in your account at the time of freeze?

As I know Paypal hates bitcoin. So if you use your paypal for exchange services you will be banned. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Arbitrary account freezing is part of Paypal's business model. It happens often when huge sums are involved so Paypal can collect interest on the funds.

Solution: Don't use Paypal. Use wire transfer and Bitcoin.

ya.ya.yo!

Never leave money in Paypal, on the few occasions I use them the first thing I do is use their prepaid debt card at an ATM.  Better yet, fuck 'em and just use Bitcoin :)

PayPal's business model has been to randomly freeze people's accounts and steal the funds in them for more than a decade. This is not breaking news.

Were you surprised by the account closure? Drug paraphernalia is explicitly against the PayPal ToS, and a quick look at page shows that the goods advertised might be confused with, or even used as, drug paraphernalia.

Paypal is a known enemy to bitcoins and all alt currencies alike, they feel threatned and then freeze you.  They must have tons of people working the freeze account department.

Freezing funds is a business strategy by paypal to earn more. They are holding $180 million to $220 million per year. They are having a monopoly they can basically do whatever they wants.

I wish there was some alternative to Paypal that allows you to send money over the internet.

The internet should boycott paypal, dwolla used to have attractive rates for small business transaction processing, just need a good alternative for bitcoin carts. Of course you will be singleing out a sample of impulse buyers wanting the convenience (and falsely expected security) of paypal.

PayPal sucks, their fees are incredibly high. I have an account there but use it only for very small transfers.

Paypal is not a good option to send money online. There are several complains of limited and frozen accounts which involves thousands of dollars. Paypal is indeed bad for business.

Sorry to hear about the PayPal problems, I personally hate how PayPal can just freeze peoples accounts when you are running a perfectly legal business but I guess that’s just another reason why cryptocurrencies are the future.
