Title: R9 280X - 3 monitor setup help Post by: Destiffmast on April 23, 2014, 07:53:09 AM Hello, I am having a strange problem and can't get my head around it.
Connection is with 1x hdmi and 2x mini DP - please note this worked fine until yesterday so it is not a connection problem, must be a setting that I can't see. PC was running fine with 3 monitors extended, I have decided then to give it a try to the new AMD driver 14.1, so uninstalled driver 13.12 using AMD tool, installed the new one and that is when everything went downhill... My side screens came up working but the middle one connected to the hdmi doesn't. So I went on windows and CCC and I see it connected but disabled and it does not let extend or do anything else for that matter, just comes up as disabled. Any ideas why this is happening? I have reversed to driver 13.12 and now I have the same problem with this driver strangely enough. I wish I didn't, never came across this problem before, only after using that AMD tool
