I'm looking to mine a scrypt coin using Ubuntu and CGMiner on a Parallella cluster. I am due to recieve one after 5/8/14 once the pre-order builds are complete. So perhaps soon after that. ;D I wanted to test out the cluster computer to see if it could scrypt coin mine. Where can I get some help, with payment to get it up and running? I've done very little mining, only SHA-256 type with Bitcoin and Terracoin. You can forget about scrypt, since they will never generate as much power as an FPGA would

This might also help. It's a github for a branch of cgminer that has some code for using the epiphany chips. Don't have my parallella up and running just yet (waiting on a cable in the mail) so I haven't tried it, but last I saw it was not running great. I could be wrong, as I am pretty novice in coding and such and I had no idea what I was reading, but I did find the link. |
