I saw a thread of silicon art in the market place section and checked out their website. There was no real image of the products and there's a youtube video. Can they be trusted?

Makes me wonder as well, especially the pricing structure.

My $.02.

You can ask the seller for escrow or better wait till their scrypt miners are released on ground .

At least one member of the corporate staff has an interesting background though:

Christopher Tarnovsky.

Yeah, this is verified to be the same guy:

Not sure what this means though.

They have been reported by market watch:

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/siliconart-announces-kickoff-of-its-new-40nm-scrypt-analytics-asic-2014-04-14

Guess they are a real company.

They are indeed incorporated in California as a for-profit coporation.

Virtually all involved are foreign nationals, not residing in the USA but that may mean nothing.

My $.02.
